Except it doesn't and remains absolutely faithful to the spirit of their relationship, their dynamic and the themes of the story, for one.Just... no. That completely alters both the dynamic between Bruce and Jason, and undercuts the themes of the story. Stop trying to crowbar classic Batman stories in to fit Snyder’s awful, murdery characterisation.
And if you want a slavish adaption of the story, go watch the animated one which does a suberp job of translating it to a screen pretty much bit for bit. Because you'll never get exactly that on the silver screen; filmmakers always alter the source material that they even adapt in the first place.
Also, you are being a huge hypocrite for rejecting Batfleck while being such a huge fan of Nolan's & Bale's Batman that in BB (and throughout TDKT) is EXACTLY just as murderous as Snyder's & Affleck's was (don't even attempt to argue this).
