That second pic of armitage looks like a mix of bale and Jackman. I think he has a good look for it, but I've personally never seen him act other than that bit part in CA:TFA

I've been a proponent of "older Batman" from the very beginning, and I have been a Brolin guy from day one. I am still cautious about how the story will turn out, but I will be very optomistic with Brolin at Batman. I'm not against Armitage, though. I could get on that bandwagon.

Armitage kind of reminds me of Josh Stewart (who played Barsad, Bane's right hand man in TDKR).

Hmm out of all the contenders that's been mentioned, the three choices I would be okay with would be Richard Armitage, Matthew Goode, and possibly Josh Brolin. I'm not too keen on Gosling (great actor, but wouldn't mind if he got cast) and Manganiello and I'm not familar with Max Martini's work.

The second you said Jackman is the second I started to warm up to this guy. Who was he in Captain America: TFA though?

Ross' Bruce Wayne/Batman resembles Hamm more than Brolin, imo.

He was only a very minor character. He's the guy who explodes the booth after Rogers turns into 'MURICA and then makes the run for it, holding the kid hostage.

For anyone who wants to see him watch Spooks. It's a british show on netflix (called MI-5 on there I believe) he is in it from Season 7 onwards. He's great in it. He is also in the entire first season in a show called Strike Back.

Both hard man/spy roles but definitely worth checking out if you want to look him up.

Im sorry but these are all the worst selections to take over. Assuming Christian bale doesn't return, an old Batman is a horrible idea. And not one of these actors are right for either Bruce Wayne or Batman.

out of that list i vote to Matthew Goode, wonder if his Batman would fight like Ozymandias.

if Superman is 33 then I'd want batman to be no older than 36, but have been batman for years before Superman popped up, Maybe year one at 29-31
