The B'89 suit isn't that comic accurate, either. Hate to break it to you. The suit didn't look like a "second skin" whatsoever, as it does in the comics. It looked like a heavy, rubber suit, especially in the stomach and cowl. The muscles didn't even look organic as they do in the comics. And let's not forget the symbol...
If I had to make this call, I'd say that the Batman Forever (Panther) suit is probably the most comic accurate that we've gotten so far. It looked 10 times lighter than the B'89 suit, a much better sculpt (not only in the stomach area but the neck and cowl), and a real Batsymbol.
basically your comparing a granny smith apple to a red delicious apple. they both look the same pretty much but with very slight differences. i do agree, the panther suit looks much better then the somtimes bulky B89 suit, but i was talking about the sonar suit.
actually, if you made the sonar suit a darker grey/black, it would look alot like the Begins suit.
