Batman Forever Suit... Not That Bad

Interesting, didn't know that, I figured it was a different sculpt, but it makes sense to re-use the old suit.

They should've went with the black Sonar; I just dislike any non-black Batman suit. It makes him look tacky to deviate from that.

Same here. I always like Batman to be black, since black suit more of that "dark creature of the night". Blue is more of a bright color & doesn't suit him, no pun intended. ;)

Isn't Forever's Sonar suit silver-ish grey? or at least I remember it like that. The Ice suit of B&R its way overdone for my taste.

Seeing close up of the Sonar suit, it appear to be more of a very light blue than silver/grey. You can tell by looking at the closeup of Val's eyes. The black paint around the eyes in the suit (or the cowl, if you will) made it appear more of blue color than silver to me. Though the Sonar style suit in B&R is surely silver/grey as you point out. The way how the color stick out, you can tell it is.

The suit is not a ONE color, It looks diffrent depending on lightning as i said before. Hope this makes sense ;)

I know. Just stating how they look in my eyes. Beside, I'm not a costume maker like you. But at least I'm trying to sound like one. :D

Yeah, the lighting makes it look different. But I think it's originally an extremely dark blue/silver. Like a metallic navy blue.

This Is What I'm Talkin About!

NOW COMPARE THIS...

I do though like how the cape it attached to the symbol and cowl there, it looks more uniform.

The Batman Forever suit is like someone blew up a Batman action figure, scooped out the innards, and crawled inside.

It shouldn't be that sleak and refined.

I like it.

And OK, you got me, not really much blue in there at all. In the film it kinda looks that way though ;)

I still want a manip of the BR suit with nipples :(

Nah, the muscular kills it.

+ Kilmer looks stupid in it.

I like it, I prefer it to the chunkier look of the B89 suit.

As usual thanks for sharing those pics Proximo pretty cool stuff. Like I said in this thread before the sonar suit was the only one I've see on film for a long period of time that reminded me of the grey hue in the comics due to it's silver/grey color scheme. It never looked blue to me the only ones that had a noticeable bluish hue on film were the BR & B&R suits.

I didn't notice it on the BR suit, I might go back and check that out. Agreed on the B+R suit though, which some people criticize but it was at least interesting that they tried something new.

The BF suit was pretty smexy if you ask me

kind of an indie neon goth city type :oldrazz:

i do agree... BF & B&R almost had the atmosphere of a really good & expensive fan film or independent film.... NOTHING ABOUT THOSE MOVIES SCREAMED Hollywood! i dunno... maybe it did, but even so.... Hollywood will never have any idea what the character is really about
