Yeah, I didn't mean to necessarily direct that at you, but more so the fanbase who act as if the nipples in Forever kept them from enjoying the suit.

It's OK, that's cool. I agree, the nipples are not the problem I have with the suit, mainly I don't like the gloss factor in it, although I do like the sculpting of it.

Really? I liked that suit a lot, it's very close to the look of the comic suit, I prefered it to the Panther suit TBH.

I agree, the silver looked pretty awesome, as did the scuplt of the Sonar suit.

I just recently rewatched Batman Forever, and still think the Pnather suit is pretty awesome. Though it's a little glossy, the cowl and musculature look badass. Robin's suit isn't bad either. His sculpt is great, though I actually prefer his Batman & Robin suit.

I thought you were referring to the scene when Batman comes to Chase's place and she feels him up outside, saying stuff like "...your body...your lips...your eyes" etc...

She does feel him up there, but there's no close-up of her doing it. On the roof by the Batsignal, however, when she;s trying to come on to him, I believe the nipples are clearly visible, though that's the only truly noticable time.

I see where you're coming from, but it's just one more thing to dislike about the film, even if it isn't as prevalent as some make it seem.

how is the sonar suit closer to the source material? batman never wears armor-looking stuff in the comics. well, rarely. he always has a "muscle" looking suit that shows off his muscles without the nipples, and just cuz the sonar suit had the black on black batsymbol doesnt make it more accurate. the most accurate suits were the ones where it was like a second skin, like B89 and the panther suit. the "final battle" suits in BF and B&R were just silly, although i can tolerate the sonar suit more then the silver-lined clooney sonar suit. and dont get me started on bale, only thing that is accurate on his suit is the symbol (well, the symbol for todays modern batman that doesnt have the oval) and the cloth cape. but its still too high tech and armor-ish.

I've never liked that ice protecting suit but I'm quite fond of the sonar suit. The sculpt of the suit while more armored is simpler than the sculpt of the panther suit. I like the clasps for practical purposes. I prefer the utility belt to the one on the panther suit. It's also the closest we've gotten to the greyish hue of the comics suit in live action so far. My only real issue with it has always been the cowl to me it's awfully designed. It looked better on this model kit figure than on Kilmer. In the film it looked oversized and the ridges on the side as well as the points by the mouth area is too much for me.

The B'89 suit isn't that comic accurate, either. Hate to break it to you. The suit didn't look like a "second skin" whatsoever, as it does in the comics. It looked like a heavy, rubber suit, especially in the stomach and cowl. The muscles didn't even look organic as they do in the comics. And let's not forget the symbol...

If I had to make this call, I'd say that the Batman Forever (Panther) suit is probably the most comic accurate that we've gotten so far. It looked 10 times lighter than the B'89 suit, a much better sculpt (not only in the stomach area but the neck and cowl), and a real Batsymbol.
