Batman TAS vs Spiderman TAS, which was better?

I thought Batman was better, but, i liked the computer graphics shots of Spiderman. the thing i hated about spiderman is that for some reason he thought people with laser guns, who carries a laser gun around. I hate that they ended it so you never got to know if he found MJ again.

Great thread. I love both but i found SM declining in story quality as it went into season 5. That and those idiots at Fox didn't air the stories in the right order they were meant to be seen in, so sometimes it was hard to follow.

Batman was great. Great writing. Still holds up even to today.
Now let's get Spiderman TAS released on dvd, season by season like they did Batman, o.k..?

That was one of the things i dislike about Spidey TAS, you could never just sit and watch one episode, you had to wait for the next, its fine to do it a few times but it was every episode, never a one shot self contained.

Fox started getting sloppy when it came to airing Spiderman TAS in the order the eps were meant to be seen in, so it became really confusing and annoying.

This is a question as good as difficult to answer. I loved both so much...

But I have to say Batman TAS

I watched both every day, but Batman was so much more put together. It flowed brilliantly, and the same can be said for the marketing of the DVD sets.

Plus, the whole DCAU followed in such a magnificent way.

But Batman stands on its own The noir mood that they gave it was pitch perfect, and the depth brought to the storytelling was a first in animation. It wasn't just for kids, and they broke real ground with that style of storytelling. Plus, every episode was scored, which you NEVER see! And Paul Dini & co. were bold enough to make the show on a black pallet, which was a harsh gamble that paid off.
