I have friends who didn't know this was coming out until the teaser. And these are young people. I can guarantee a lot of the 30+ demographic doesn't know about this yet

And according to that, deadpool is the 2nd most anticipated. Really? to the general public?

So many people barely know about deadpool, let alone that theres a movie being made.
Again this is in the circle of fans that this is big news in.

BvS has 41m views for a teaser trailer that was released nearly 3 months ago, by the end of the year it'll probably be around 50m+ maybe 60 but it's already more than every MOS trailer. Yet it has no hype and no one knows it's coming out? Lol ok

Everything you read about this movie is on the internet. I'm talking from personal experience that SO many people I've talked to didn't know about this movie (granted this is before the teaser)

And I said this movie is gonna be huge, but it isn't yet. You wouldn't get how big of a divide there is between people who follow these things on the internet and real life. I don't wanna keep repeating everything, but my experiences speak for themselves. a LOT of people I've met didn't know that this was a thing.

I'm not sure you know what "general audience" is. This movie is relatively unknown to the general public as of NOW. Once the marketing hits full gear it will be impossible to get away from this. But for now, it's not as big as you think.

A lot of people forget that the bvs teaser was played with age of ultron
And jurassic world easily giving it even more hype if people didn't know then they definitely know now

I've had arguments with people on youtube trying to prove them that DC has been winning comic con for the past two years. So no need to tell me that.

And again, the win was decided over internet searches and all that. Not real life.

Don't know for America, but I can assure you that here, it's quiet. Comic Con isn't popular here, so the first exclusive trailer is totally unpopular except for fans, of course. The new trailer hasn't the hype I was thinking, it wasn't on the first page of youtube per example. For me, I'm working, my friends are working, we're going slowly to our thirties, we are adults and it's quiet (even for people working with me, and I work for a comic label and a video game studio, so it's a little bit surprising). I'm not saying that nobody want to see the movie, it will be a big hit, but it's slowly coming... And I'm dying for more !

To my theater, the trailer wasn't played with Ultron. It took a little time before they subbed it and it isn't common to show trailer with subtitle. We can see it more often now, and that's why the hype is only beggining now.

The only Issue is that I haven't seen the trailer in the cinema (UGC). I'm not even sure that they'll show it before 2016. It seems like we only get the trailers for films that are to be released in the weeks to come.
