I didn't actually mean it in that respect, but with respect to MoS being the one and only impression of the DCEU. And that it came out 3 friggin' years ago. Time to move on.
But...
I still disagree with your assessment. Did MoS have flaws? Sure, it wasn't perfect. I still love it, and the majority of moviegoers have a positive impression of it. But in the age of interconnected, ongoing-narrative storytelling, it's no longer fair to judge a film a single entity. If BvS address some of the story and character issues of MoS, then yes, those issues are no longer as relevant with respect to the whole. Maybe not issues pertaining to MoS' pacing, structure, etc.
If it's fair to give a movie like TFA that benefit, it's fair to MoS too.
edit: Please, god, don't let me get started on MoS again.
I do agree with that, but I think it's also important that a film stand on its own (and from the interviews, Snyder and Co seems to aim for that).
And like I said, BvS won't fix all of MOS's problems - it will address many, but not all
