Where was his father? In the metropolis destruction? wasn't that jack he was shouting?
BH, indeed they were. What do you think we will be at before next Fridays numbers come in? $650? $700?
It's very unlikely that this grosses 200-300 million by Friday.

Yeah, because bad WOM was definitely a defining factor in Yesterday's numbers. It's very unlikely that this grosses 200-300 million by Friday.

What bad WOM ? I'm only reading bad things on the internet and it's coming from the same people every day, just repeating themselves.
Yeah, because bad WOM was definitely a defining factor in Yesterday's numbers.![]()
Here comes "glass half empty" Matt.
200 easily, 300 by next monday
It's the best way mate means you have morals.
tbh if someone doesn't like BvS but still look forward to JL that makes perfect sense. I don't like every single film in the MCU but it didn't stop me looking forward to other films in the slate.
Although if its Snyder that puts people off then that's fair but for someone to nit look fi ward to Suicide Sqaud or a Wonder Woman (if they were before they saw BvS) because they didn't like BvS then that I don't get. It's a different director, writers etc. They've already said they are going to let these filmmakers have creative licence with these characters so they won't necessarily continue the tone or style of BvS.
Could be possible. $574m ahead of the weekend should mean over $700m by next Sunday. If the weekdays happened like you suggest, even a steep 70% 2nd weekend drop ($127m down from $424m) would mean finishing just over $700m.Furious 7 made $45m on it's Mon-Thu after its 147m US opening weekend.
MoS made $50m Mon-Thu after it's opening weekend in the US
BvS could easily make $50m in the US and $150m worldwide during that time.
A total domestic gross of $200 million, not $200 million more, by Thursday.
And this week is spring break for many schools.
No, because common sense. Avengers made about 50 million domestically from Monday to Thursday of its second week. Movies just don't pull in a lot of money during the week.
As for bad WOM, it did hurt the Sunday numbers. A 30 % drop is pretty bad. Almost every comparable movie is about a 10 % drop from Saturday to Sunday.
Keep in mind Sunday was a religious holiday where a lot of people are going to church, brunch, family dinners, etc. It's not like Memorial Day where you have a ton of people going to movies, etc. BvS's numbers (% wise) look to be inline with many other films that opened Easter weekend.
The only records this movie is breaking have already happened.
Regardless, I think it's pretty obvious that since it's already near half a billion WW, the future of the DCEU is well on it's way to fruition.
Unfortunately for some, that's a bad thing. I'm glad I enjoyed BVS in that regard.
Anyone who thinks this film is doing $200 million from Mon-Thur is insane. I'm pretty sure there has never been a movie that pulls anything like that during the week DOM or WW. There is a reason almost all theaters do matinee specials during the week and that's to drive up business because in general, movies do the majority of business on the weekends.
EDIT: Also take into account school is not out so that will be going against it as well.
Incredible Hulk don't let that get in the way of a bit of negativity from the quoted poster![]()
