It looks some improved but the poses look like Superman is staring to the side of Batman and where Batman is, he is starting to the side as well. It takes away from it looking like a stare down.

This isn't about costume design. The trust is THERE.

This about the actual villain himself. His physical appearance and face and skin. That Darkside below is Damn near prefect. It doesn't get much better then that for live action.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't those exactly the things that he is going to take care of as costume designer?`

Also, pre-2013, people probably didn't expect perfection neither when it was announced that a new Batman was coming ... and just look at Batfleck now.

Don't get me wrong though, the Darkseid Fanart is absolutely gorgeous.
