I actually hope that Jesse keeps the hair for the majority of the film. If he loses it, it should be because of the effects of the finale of the movie. His motivation to be a thorn is Superman's side should not JUST be about the hair, but it certainly should be one more iron to throw into the "I hate Superman" fire.

I like this idea too. They could always go down the route of introducing Kryptonite and having him begin researching it extensively and obsessively and after being around it so much he gets cancer.

This role would have been perfect for Bryan Cranston if they go that route.
Cranston played a bald mastermind with cancer on Breaking Bad. I even recall Jesse saying "You look like Lex Luthor" after Walt shaved his head on the show. And we all wanted Heisenberg as Lex anyway, not Eisenberg -.-

never wanted Cranston. Never wanted Jesse never even thought of him but it's exciting to see what they do with him. Casting Cranston would have been the laziest piece of casting in history. He wouldn't have been Lex he would have been Heisenberg. There would have been no getting away from it. Anytime he got angry all people would see is Walter White. Just my opinion. It's just a very similar genius angry bald man.

I want Cranston for Lex but didn't feel disappointed with him not being cast. Now Jesse Eisenberg was a big surprise, no one really saw that one and up until now I'm still saying "huh?". I don't hate the casting but I'm also not a huge fan of it, however I'm willing to give the guy a chance, for all we know this might be his mind-blowing performance. Let's just say I'm cautiously excited of this casting haha.

Never wanted Cranston as well. I don't like predictable casting. Jesse has a chance to make the character his own or completely ruin it. At this point, I totally can't see where they're going with him.

So, Ron Howard is Lex Luthor?

He looks like a plausible Lex Luthor, but can he play him? Initially I never would have thought of Zuckerberg...um I mean Eisenberg but there are different incarnations of Lex, and noting that Rosenbaum didn't look anything at all like a Lex Luthor, but he really reinvented the role, he was the Lex Luthor of Smallville.

But I can go with these looks, it looks alright in these manips, while it's not the way way I picture the face of Lex, looking slightly younger, albeit, he looks slightly older now than before.

He needs to be threatening, dangerous, evil, and tough, he needs to change his voice. I want him to BE Lex Luthor if he can.

It definitely doesn't matter. It's just that manip really shows, that if Zack will want a more recognizable Lex Luther, it's not impossible to turn Jesse into one.
