Batman: Year One

Awesome Awesome Awesome Awesome. Very well done.

The release more than likely will be late September like previous 4th quarter DC Universe animated movie releases.

i like that the cover looks similar to the animation/look of the film
more often than not, the dcau covers look over done and while they are awesome, raise expectations that the actual movie can't live up to

Definitely very faithful to David Mazzucchelli's original art. Awesome.

AWESOME :wow:

Well, now my expactations went very high on this flick.

That cover is nothing but great. :ybat: :awesome:

2 completely different formats. Not to mention we have no trailer and only 2 pictures of this film right now. Not the greatest question in the world.

The formats aren't really all that different. Both are two dimensional images projected onto a screen. Given the source material isn't all that fantastic in it's stunts and given what SFX and CGI can do these days, animation doesn't really give that big of an advantage over "live action".

With regards to what we've seen, that's irrelevant since I asked "will" this film be better than Batman Begins. Of course we'll have to see it to make the judgement, but we can begin to think about it especially since we already know the source material for both already.

It's a perfectly legitimate question.

I love that they're keeping close to the comic and who they got for Gordon's voice. However, I'm not sold on the other voices yet. Why did they get that guy for Batman?

Mckenzie's voice is great for a young batman

Awesome preview. Love the voice work

I like the direction McKenzie was going for with the batvoice, but it's just one of those things where I don't think his execution was as good as the concept. It's akin to how I feel about Bale's delivery, only this time the voice isn't as gravely and deep as it should be.
