That issue was also absolutely awful compared to the stellar first issue. A sixteen page action scene unless it's completely amazing in a comic is ludicrously excessive and boring. I'd actually prefer the action sequences to be brief but intense - always thought it'd be cool to emphasize Batman's fighting style as being about taking opponents down as quickly and efficiently as possible rather than brawling.

Tell you the truth, I'd like to see them maybe take some cues from the Oldboy one take fight scene for the Batman's choreography. Not in terms of how it's actually choreographed but the little details like people missing punches and twisting their legs. It'd even arguably add to the idea that Batman's this mythical creature of the night, as criminals would start making stupid mistakes when fighting him because they're that scared of him.
