Discussions about "realism" have become overly heated, stifling, and unproductive on these boards. It brings out the worst in everyone and takes over the threads in which it raised, causing interesting topics of discussion to be stifled.
From now on, any discussion of the level of "realism" of The Batman, how it compares to other adaptations, or whether said "realism" prevents certain characters from being adapted or requires that they must be adapted in a specific way is to be discussed in the designated Realism thread, which can be found here:
The Batman Realism Thread (No Debating Realism Outside This Thread)
Any discussion of "realism" outside of that thread in anything more than fleeting or cursory manner that is secondary to another point or topic will be deleted. Repeated violation of this rule can and will result in temporary or permanent banning of the offending poster.
