I think Grand Bazaar would even be improved without vehicles.
Give me some great maps like that and I'll be fine. Where BF 3 does CQ combat well is where instead of going the MW route, focusing on camping spots, tools for camping, kill streaks to reward lone wolf behaviour, they are great at setting up choke points, where one team can easily overwhelm the enemy or easily defend from attackers if the whole team pitches in and creates a strong line of defense/surge forwards. For me, those sort of moments can be just as exhilarating as any of the open field, vehicle based stuff. It's a great simulation of frontline type combat but in an urban environment. Like that alley way in Grand Bazaar that always turns into Death Alley, or the stairs in Metro station.
