Mass Effect 3 - Part 2

Sounds good, make it's a fair challenge rather then being too easy.

I dont like it. I loved the health system of ME2

Yea im with Havok. It was fine in ME2. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Yeah... I kind of wish they would just settle down with the constant changes and adjustments to how these game work. The first game all guns had cool downs but unlimited ammo, the second game has ammo packs. Health regen, a little health regen, health packs, gah just pick something and stick to it already. :o

It would be easy for them to do the same thing again, but personally I'm really glad they're improving things in Mass Effect 3.

I will say with how many game series play things safe and make as little changes as possible between successful sequels, I agree with Soapy that I like they're not afraid to make serious mechanical changes to the game.

Its certainly going to make Hardcore/Insanity much more challenging.

Anyway:

What exactly is it about him that people don't like? What makes him *****y?

I hate him already. Can I kick him out the airlock now and get Jacob back?

Godly Trap muscles

Yeah, even Brock Lesnar would have to envy that guy's trapezius muscles. Lordy.

I think he looks good.

I love the new gun noises.

Vega?? hmmmm........

in regards to the health regeneration system, maybe it's just me, but I kind of miss the old days of RPGs when your HP and MP did NOT automatically regenerate once the battle is over, or while you walk around, etc.

when your HP is low, you had to use a potion, or heal him/her with a spell. and if you used spells, you had to keep an eye out on MP. you had to find an inn or magic spring to rest. you had to revive fallen comrades. or go to the shop and stock up on potions before you venture out on your next mission.............

iow.....it was more of a challenge.....it felt more like an adventure.......

so I welcome this change in mechanics.

I think Vega looks pretty awesome, he's the kind of big bastard I'd want fighting at my side.

Those multiplayer sounds are absolutely amazing. The gunfire has been really improved upon.

Something I saw was that when the player used Pull on a Sniper that had still had shields up it caused the Sniper to go stumbling forward - thought that was a nice way to have powers set up attacks even if it couldn't do the full effect.

I'm built like Vega, but I'm not a total *****e. Don't judge a book by it's cover.

Do you also have a fohawk? Fohawk = instadouche. At least based on my experiences.

My hair kinda does naturally, actually. I usually keep my hair almost buzzed, and when I let it grow, it just grows out that way. And he doesn't have a fauxhawk, it's more a mini-mohawk.

Heh. I was going to say something.

But I didn't want to be a dick. :o

Some one needs to get into the files of the beat to see if there's any other squadmates. I may sound like a broken record, but I need an answer on if we'll see Grunt back.
