Its been confirmed that the goggles are just used to pilot the new vehicle, the flying fox. They were included so that when light falls on it, it gives off the look of the glowing Bat eyes.

Also have you guys noticed that he is wearing this armoured suit over his normal one?

Yup and I love the fact that no matter his need for more armor, the regular batsuit is always the foundation so to speak.

And wow, it's not black. Who would have known.

We've already seen his suit is still grey, in the SDCC footage.

I know, but that doesnt seem to stop people from saying the suit is black now. Even in the BTS footage, its very clear to see the suit is still grey.

That's exactly why it bugs me so much when people say it's basically black now. Turn up your screen brightness, lawd.

It's just a different shade of grey and a new material that's more reflective/"shiny".

And as idiot correctly says (I love your posts btw mate), the grey really pops in the sizzle reel. So it's all about lighting.

I was thinking that the darker shade on grey might be due to the fact that (being a Justice League film and all) we'll see Batman under more light/daylight, so darker grey keep his image as a "big black bat" among this colorful cast of character in a more lit environment.

Affleck really does have the perfect chin and jawline for the role, and I'm so glad they chose the stubbled look for this Batman. The glowering expression of his mouth reminds me of Karl Urban in Dredd. Considering that most of the actor's face is covered, little details like that really help drive home the impression of a grizzled badass.

You know what I like about this tactical suit as opposed to a similar concept (TDK) - it actually looks like armor.

I get what they were trying to do in The Dark Knight, but the execution never looked like anything other than rubber/foam latex to me.

From that perspective...I really dig it.

Same here. I'm pretty sure that's the case. Also, along with lines on his torso forming a v-shape, darker shade helps in making him appear more streamlined and athletic, as opposed to hulking, Miller-like look from BvS.

It really seems like they are drawing a lot from the Arkham Games for these new suits as Deathstroke looks just like his Arkham Origins model and as OutofBoose pointed out in the main thread it looks like Wilkinson took the best elements of the Arkham Origins and Arkham Knight suit and put his own twist on it while combining them.

Speaking of Deathstroke I can’t wait until we get an HD image of him so we can pour over all of the minute details and then nitpick it to death.

Those are my thoughts too. I hope Deathstroke will be more than just a cool fight scenes guy in the Batman movie, and in the DCEU in general.
