Also Ben was buff, but his upper chest is usually slightly hairy. So either they shaved him or CG enhanced the front.

If you compare this with the movie, it's more or less the shame abs shape

I'm sorry guys. I am 100% certain this is CGI. The chest musculature does not move in that scene like it should with proper anatomy. To me it has always stuck out like a sore thumb. The abs are also CGI.
Knowing Snyder he would would pimp the hell out of shirtless Affleck and he did not. There's no doubt in my mind that is all fake.

The DCEU definitely doesn’t need him.
Him or his indecisive bs.
The franchise has already been hurt recasting and basically starting fresh is the way to go.

Well I do remember some guy from Gym Jones saying that was not CGI, so idk. Also Affleck had another couple of shirtless(from the back) scenes in BvS too, and he looked extremely ripped.

If the abs WERE cgi it doesn’t really matter.
They weren’t as noticeable or horrible as the cgi lip on supes and it got the job done.

AFAIK, they had to CGI off Affleck's tatoos, and add in some battle scars Bruce had. That might be it.

That's the theory i had myself when i first saw that scene. The lack of usual behind the scenes material of him working out made me doubt it somewhat. They had a lot of footage previously of Henry working out on set or at the gym in preparation. In any case, we'll see what happens in the next outings he has as Batman.

I just looked at it as Ben had bulked up and looked big, had shape and definition but not cut enough to look like it matched with the bat suit. So they had a lil play with CGI so it matched up. In all fairness, it's JL where the cgi and his shape looked ridiculously obvious.

And now we're going back and forth analyzing little bits of footage until we find what's wrong...it's true that us fans ruin movies for ourselves because of....reasons??

It's like the fight scenes in TDKT, ya know?? How people point out the stunt guys falling by themselves and whatnot, and while I don't deny that some people might have noticed on first viewing, I didn't until it was pointed out to me and watched it repeatedly, so thinking about it....why would I?? Why would I ruin for myself something I loved??

I loved BvS, and I didn't mind the CGI muscles on Affleck. But they are very obvious. The real problem I have with the CGI muscles is that Ben didn't have the balls / time / mindset (whatever) to get into proper Batman shape!
