Honest question.. why didnt Batman kill all those bad guys in suicide squad? I mean in Snyder world Bat murders everyone.

they usually have the actor pump alot of weights right before they shoot the scene so the physique is accentuated

thats what they did for henry's man of steel shirtless scene

Yeah I remember seeing set videos of him doing pullups on the helipad's rails. lol

The first scene in the batcave pretty much tells the audience that the branding and the killing is a new behavior for Bruce, and there are only 4 Batman villains in SS. Joker, Harley Quinn, Killer Croc, and Deadshot.

He does not murder everyone, most people he fights are left badly beaten but alive. God the hyperbolic statements people will make to try and make Batman out to be the punisher are just ridiculous at this point.

To be fair, he does kill quite a few guys in BvS.

I liked how Batman's killing was acknowledged in Batman Forever.

I don't remember that

Can't find the scene on youtube but here are quotes from the scene in Batman Forever.
Bruce: So, you're willing to take a life.
Dick: Long as it's Two-Face.
Bruce: Then it will happen this way: You make the kill. But your pain doesn't die with Harvey, it grows. So you run out into the night to find another face, and another, and another. Until one terrible morning you wake up and realize that revenge has become your whole life. And you won't know why.
Dick: You can't understand. Your family wasn't killed by a maniac.
Bruce: Yes, they were. We're the same.
In Batman (89) Bruce didn't start killing until he found out that The Joker killed his parents and he even tells the Joker that he's going to kill him twice. The first time Batman tells the Joker "have you ever danced with the devil in the pale moonlight?" which is what the Joker tells all his prey and Batman literally tells the Joker that he is going to kill him. Bruce still kills in Batman Returns even though he already has his revenge.

Because he's inspired by Superman's example of heroism.

"I can honestly say I'm a changed man. I'm no longer a danger to society. That's the God's honest truth."

Indeed. The branding consequence of death
is done via Lex for arranging the brandees to the shanked.
Batman just doesn't care either way what happens to them.

Alfred even asks Bruce if there's a new rule when he shows him a newspaper showing the branding

I always loved that scene, Forgot about the killings happening after the Joker revelation but I guess there was a reason for it after all in the story like here. No reason for it in BR though.

There's also the guy who says, "There's a new kind of mean in him."

Good catch and was it not implied at the end of BvS that Batman/Bruce is changing his ways,he was clearly disillusioned and his thought process was driven by revenge but the sacrifice of Supes changes his mindset completely.

SS takes place after the events of BvS so we see the classic B:TAS Batman.

I would imagine the bits we see of batman would be in flashbacks making them before bvs possibly even mos.

I thought it was confirmed that Batman in SS is after the events of BvS!?

Yes, chronologically movies are in the order they are going to be released,

MoS, BvS, SS, WW, JL.

Didn't think about that,in that case it would reveal that Batman was a compassionate superhero who was pushed to the edge by crime laden Gotham where criminals grow like weeds and Joker killing Jason amplifies it further. Then his obsession with Supes pushes him over the edge to go full crazy in misdirected anger.

After the events of BvS he is going to be a changed man as it has been insinuated in JL set visit. All is well.

I know but I meant Batman's role, it was rumored to be in a flashback but I read somewhere that the car chase with Batman and Joker was confirmed to take place in the film's timeline which is after BvS

Been saying that for a while now yet Snyder can't answer that question.

Even though it's been pretty much implied what the answer is, why would Snyder even need to answer that? Isn't that on Ayer?
