Ben Affleck IS Bruce Wayne/Batman

I doubt those goggles are something he just slips on while piloting. He is just standing there not piloting anything. Plus anything he uses for piloting would likely be stored inside the batting, instead of being part of his costume.

I think these are part of the costume, but I cant be positive I guess. I absolutely loved the BvS suit. I was immediately unhappy the second I said this picture. I would have been devastated if not for the fact that my expectations for justice league are pretty low at this point.

Wilkinson confirmed they were for piloting.
I did not know that. Did he confirm that Batman would not be wearing those once hes out of the Batwing? Or are they part of the suit and he wears that whether he will be piloting or not?

He just said the goggles were for piloting a vehicle. He was pretty hush hush on specifics.

And they're probably not gonna be in the movie for long, a few minutes at best, so I don't know why some fans are so up in arms about them.

I mean, yeah, I agree the goggles look goofy, but I'm not gonna act like it's gonna ruin the movie for me.

Honestly, my first thought at seeing the goggles was "welding work".

I think the goggles are for a UAV/drone. Kinda like Falcon.

I think part of the reason for all these Nite-Owl comparisons is the lighting. The image is weirdly lighted by the sparks and whatever is on the right side, giving it a warm yellow light, hence making the entire suit itself yellowish, which is really similar to the brown-ish gold color that Nite-Owl sports. I bet if this was under normal lighting, where you see the grey and black like the BvS and the JL group shot pics, no one would even think Nite-Owl apart from the goggles.

Should we really be surprised? The movies have the same director. So of course they have similar lighting.

It was six days ago.

I suspect they are for piloting, but I bet that he's wearing them whenever he's wearing that suit.

If they removed the goggles and fixed the ears I'd be all for this suit if used only on occasions.
