No it didn't.
Don't be absurd. You have more intelligence than that.
No it didn't.
First Class ignored a whole lot of stuff because, clearly, it was originally intended as a reboot. That's what Vaughn kept saying early on. Then they changed their mind and tied it to the existing franchise.
bryan singer: "Some things you let go. In X-Men 3 Bolivar Trask was an African-American guy, in X-Men 1 I personally wrote the line that of course I now regret: ‘When I was 17, I met a young man named Erik Lensherr’ and then in X-Men: First Class I changed that! Some of these I hope the audience will forget about but for the bulk of it I pay attention to the universe."
Angel in "The Last Stand" (2005) was 40.

The Flashback scene is placed in 1977. He was 12.
Ignore the superimpressed timestamp. It's wrong.

''superimpressed'' timestamp?
call it 'fun' all you want, but i honestly think you have a problem.
This guy is still on about the time-stamp willful ignorance?![]()
No, Singer is not ignoring time-stamps, he's ignoring what he didn't find working for his movies, aka pretty much all of X3 and WO.Deal with it. Singer has already chosen: he retconned those dates. If you don't deal with it, you're pretty much delusional.

If you think it's only timestamps, I think you're the delusional one.

None of original continuity exists anymore; I still don't know why this is even still a discussion.
Nothing In original trilogy and first 2 wolverine films is relvent anymore.
Even with DOFP Singer took a pick and chooce approach to what to acknowledge from Origins and Last Stand.
The debate is pointless.Singer confirmed on rogue cut audio Commantary much of films have been erased with DOFP time travel.I have maintained since DOFP came out the film didn't resolve any of contunity problems it just erased all the films that First Class
would have conflicted with.thus Apocalypse and other films only have to deal with events of FC/DOFP
Although I agree with this to a point, there are still things that we were shown in Origins and Last Stand (as well as all of the other movies) that still apply, even if the events of those movies now, in this new timeline, never happen.
The most important, as others have indicated, is that any character that was born prior to 1973 still exists in this new timeline and their age cannot be altered (at least, shouldn't be, if Singer and Kinberg actually cared about maintaining a functional, working timline).
For example, Wade Wilson was between (giving a broad range) 20 and 30 (or so) years old in Origins. That means that in the original timeline (and, by the way, the revised timeline as well) he was born around the year 1959! Since this is prior to 1973 it can't be changed (unless they want to just plain forget Origins (and who can blame them), but since they used scenes in DoFP, then they're kinda stuck! Yes, the Weapon XI mucked up version may not (actually hopefully not) have ever happened, but his age is finite. This causes more continuity issues as it appears that his new movie is set in the present-ish? I mean, Colossus is there, and we saw him at the mansion in the Wolvie wake-up scene, so... This means that he's what, supposed to be (using the younger 20 years old in Origins option) 55 years old or so? Anyone else see a problem?
Another example is Emma (the "good one" - wow, can't believe that the First Class one is considered the good one). She was obviously around say 30 (or older) in First Class, 1962, so she can't all of a sudden come back (unless they had her put her mind on the astral plane and then brought her back by putting her brain into the body of some comatose person - I know I've seen that used before somewhere...).
Anyway, the point is that Fox has allowed this X-Men movieverse timeline to become some Frankensteinian blasphemy. They should be taking steps to fix and maintain it, but that seems contrary to Singer and Kinberg's thought process!
Cyclops, Jean and Storm were mature, teachers for younger mutants.
Warren was in Kitty, Iceman, Colossus and Rogue age.
