Well here we are at last! We finally have our exceptional first look at Tom Holland's Spider-Man suit! How does it hold up to the other three cinematic suits? Which suit is... the best?

I love the Amazing Spider-Man suit, probably helps it's my favourite Spidey film aswell and favourite Spidey actor.

Kind of hard to vote for the CW suit with there only being like a 2 second look at it. I mean,. i get we have a good look at it,. but i want to see how it is in action first. I voted TASM 1 suit. Hated it in promo pics,. but loved it in the movie.

I think Spider-Man(2002) had the best. Not every Raimi movie had the same costume. The symbol is different and there are others too.

Also the back spider is not the same in SM1 and 2.

ASM>CA:CW>ASM2>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Raimi

I think Holland's look is the most positively Romita-looking suit! Love it!

1. Civil War
2. TASM1
3. SM2
4. SM1
5. SM3
6. TASM2

1. Raimi
2. Civil War/TASM 2 (tied)
3 ASM

Not really liking the lines on the feet and shoulders of the new Spider-Suit, they are distracting. Also the eyeholes moving looks creepy but maybe I'll get used to it. I wonder if they will explain how he does that.

Haven't seen much but its tied for my #1 spot
1. Civil War/ASM 2
2. Raimi (close second, because I love this costume)
3. ASM

This suit hands down, I have my gripes with the black lines... But the rest is LITERALLY perfect.

Hard for me to decide which one is the best overall, but it isn't this one IMO.

Probably Amazing Spider-Man 2.

Welp, Marvel has done it yet again. I couldn't fathom how they could top what was already near-perfection (in both the Raimi and Webb movies), but they managed to create something fresh, exciting, and beatiful, not to mention revolutionized the eyes forever!

Just spectacular.

1) CA:CW
2) S-M 2
3) S-M 1
4) S-M 3
5) 70s Spidey
6) Japanese Spidey
7) TASM 1
8) Turkish Spidey
9) TASM 2

Raimi's suit, without a doubt. Beautiful detail, front spider is right size, and the colors just pop.

While the MCU version is more comic accurate, I'm not a fan of the moving eyes. It just doesn't work for me. Neither the black bands.

The TASM 2 suit was a bad copy of the Raimi Spider-man suit. It reeked of studio interference, like the execs walked into the room of the costume design department and said, "make it look more like the first three films", and so what you got was the Raimi costume with slightly different coloring, different eye lenses and a minimal amount of aspects from the first TASM film.

I'll have to see more of this suit to decide.

While the MCU version is more comic accurate, I'm not a fan of the moving eyes. It just doesn't work for me. Neither the black bands.

It's not really more comic accurate though. The dumb arm and boot stripes, and the capsule belt, wristbands, mechanical camera lens eyes, the VERY small spider... The original Raimi and ASM2's costumes are more accurate to the comics.

Marvel Studios ranks right above ASM1 pretty much.

Raimi Spider-Man suits are best. Then Civil war. Then ASM 2. Last is ASM suit, it is the worst.

I'm going to get murdered for this, but...ASM1.

EDIT:

1) ASM1.
2) SM1-3.
3) ASM2.
4) CW.

This one, hands down.

Raimi set the bar high, loved the raised webbing, but never cared for the eyes. the suit from 2/3 was an improvement.

Really dug the Amazing Spider-Man suit, it looked great in that movie and I loved the different textures. Agree with what Stark said above regarding Amazing 2. Close, but no cigar. Mask was great, front spider looked weird sitting so low on the chest and the band around his waist was too large making the proportions a little funky. I would have loved for it to be more of a blend with the suit preceding it, instead of such a drastic 180. Also didn't like that they ripped off design elements from Raimi's.

This new one is practically ripped from the page, subtlety modernized, perfectly retro at the same time. Everything I could have hoped for really, everything we should have gotten nearly 15 years ago.
