^Yeah but to be fair, he was in a helicopter owned by them so not only did he have superior firepower but the element of surprise as well.

Not of them were classics like First Blood, but FBII and Rambo were good action movies which had something to say before they went a bit silly towards the end, the 2nd movie JUST has the edge for me as Rambo himself was in it a lot more.

I hated it part 4 when Rambo wasnt on screen for periods.

Finally plumped for Rambo 4, I just find the last 3rd more realistic than the one in Rambo II, at least in Rambo 4 he has people helping him take out an army, and then the rebels show up also so its not all Rambo doing the damage.

I find Rambo 4 more emotional as well, so yeah I went for that. Didnt realise how close the poll was between 2 and 4 though, interesting.

I was actually surprised Rambo II got so many votes, I thought I was one of the few that really liked it, and I seem to remember number 4 got a lot of praise on here in particular, despite and frosty reception from the critics, so I would have expected that to win at a canter.

No votes for Rambo III though, harsh maybe?

I was surprised until recently when I re-watched FBII on blu-ray and found it was actually a really good movie, even at the end i didnt find it too ridiculous becuase for the most part he had superior firepower and the element of surprise in the helicopter scene.

So I didnt even find the last 3rd that ridiculous, obviously II isnt as good as FB and Rambo (4) is slightly better also, but I hold FB II in a lot higher regard than I have done for a long time now.

First Blood Part 2 is one of the greatest action movies ever made.My facorite of the Rambo series.

The final 45 minutes is just relentless and testament to why John J Rambo is a badass.

Watched Rambo III today for the first time in ages, and I really dont think its as bad as some people make out, yeah, it takes the one man army syndrome further than the other movies, but it also contains some emotional moments and some good character beats between Rambo and Trautman.

It really doesnt deserve the flack it gets.
