Jason Todd. It makes so much more sense that, just as Batman is not completely sane, Robin wouldn't be either.

The only reason Batman takes Todd with him to fight grown men is because the boy would be fighting someone else anyway, so the best thing to do is atleast use his anger for a positive outcome. Batman also relates to Jason, and he knows that if he doesn't help him, this boy will either end up dead or go on to become a villain that Batman will have to fight eventually.

And the only way a teenage boy could survive against grown men is if he was a dangerous street fighter himself, full of aggression.

Batman is sane.

This is a great lie. Jason Todd was never full of aggression, just a few issues before his marketing stunt death he was written in this annoying way but before he was not really different than Dick Grayson, even after the Crisis.

Is he?

But he always had the anger and pain in him. Look at the way he wanted to kill Two-Face (successfully captured in Batman Forever). Before his death it just came to the surface.

Of course this is a little bit difficult to answer. In the real world he would definitely be crazy, but in the DC universe? When I was reading Batman when I was young I never thought that this guy was insane.

But he always had the anger and pain in him. Look at the way he wanted to kill Two-Face (successfully captured in Batman Forever). Before his death it just came to the surface.

This is possible. But it always seemed to me that they made Robin II more radical just because they planned his death and so most people were going to vote for his death.

Dick Grayson, he was always the most athletically skilled of the lot and has the best attitude, plus the leadership skills.

But in the end, nothing out does the original. ;)

jason todd was the worst robin ever , now the greateest robin was tim drake

I really like where all the characters are now. I like Dick as Nightwing, I like Jason as Red Hood, and I like Tim as Robin. I kind of hope Jason gets his own ongoing and becomes DC's Punisher, like other people have mentioned.

Who do you think would make the better Batman if Bruce were to ever step down, Dick or Tim?

Tim Drake. I grew up with him being Robin so I vote for him. And his costume rocks. Dick Grayson seems cooler as Nightwing.

Personally, Dick needs to get his head out of Batman's ass.

If I hear him moan about what Batman's thinking about him in dialogue boxes, I'll start shooting.

Tim Drake for the following reasons

1) He worked out it was Bruce and Dick under the Masks

2) Bruce said that the fake paper trail Tim set up after I.Crisis when he left Gotham required him to really test his detective skills

3) He doesn't have hot pants for a uniform

How people are considering any of the female Robins as the best (to even be considered true Robins is funny) is appalling. Brown was Robin all of a few weeks and was killed through her own stupidity. On top of that, she was simply a tool Batman used to get Tim Drake, the best of the Robins back. Kelly, appeared in an elseworlds tale....she was no Robin.

Tim Drake is the best Robin. His life was fine. He was the well to do kid who just wanted to help. He wasn't out for revenge (Grayson) or a thought it was a game (Todd). He just was an altruistic, genuine kid. The only Robin to want to help....just to help.

Yet, now we are getting to delve further into his mind. His father and ex-girl friend have been taken by crime and we see him slipping into the abyss with Bruce. The same abyss he is supposed to stop Bruce himself from falling into.

Skills wise, he has become a great fighter. He was always the smartest Robin, sometimes rivaling Batman in his detective prowess....but I liked that it was a struggle to earn his keep. Grayson and Todd were naturals at the fighting, Tim had to work.

He's the best, the most interesting...my favorite. He gets my vote.

I think obviously Drake is going to be number one because the youngest comic generation is the most used to him. They read all the comics that talk about how he's the best Robin and all that (it's a writer's job to do that people, they aren't giong to go "you're good... but you're no Dick". Nobody would like him then fools.) It's always the writer's job in any form of entertainment to build up the current guy over the former. I personally think Dick Grayson is the best... simply because he IS/WAS Robin. Of course when he matured it was only a matter of time before a new one replaced him, but the original is the one the mainstream knows. He was the first character to challenge Bruce as a father/son storyline.

Tim Drake. I never cared for Todd or especially Stephanie (I HATED her already), and Dick Grayson was good but he's alot more awesome as Nightwing.
