Don't know if it's been done before, if it has... Mister J knows where to put it.

Anyway, one of the things I love about The Dark Knight(and Batman Begins) is how Bale's Batman just owns the hell out of everybody he physically fights. Numbers don't matter, they just all get their asses kicked in the end. He just easily dismantles everyone, and despite how the camera captures it or how the lighting hits it, I think it's the best depiction of Batman fighting people.

I'll put some of the Begins scenes, even though most of them were shorter.

So yeah, this is dedicated to all the scenes of Batman owning the hell out of multiple thugs at once. Which in your opinion is the best scene of it.

Personally, I like the scene where he is in the club going after Maroni but my top favorite is when he's in the building trying to stop Joker near the end.

As far as I can remember it's the first time in a Batman film where they finally show him using his quick thinking skills in a situation where he has to take care of multiple things at once. Saving the hostages from the snipers, taking out the goons dressed up as doctors, helping AND stopping the SWAT team and making it to Joker before he blows the ferries up.

A number of people didn't care for it because of the sonar thing but I liked it including the sonar. It was a good visual for the audience to kind of follow in Batman's footsteps as he's figureing out what to do first as Lucious is talking to him. I don't care about the sonar haters that entire scene was full of greatness.

i voted the prison scene...the dock scene...and the 3rd act construction scene

I see it now.

edit: I love all of Batman's fight scenes in TDK--but I voted for the last one, with the SWAT, thugs, Joker.. everyone's getting some!

I voted for the 3rd act Construction Building scene.

Asskickin' pwnage.

Who's going to be the first contrarian to cite the omission of the Arkham scene in Begins when he kicked the crap out of Scarecrow and his goons before SWAT showed up*? :hyper:

Wait. Was that just me?

*This inclusion can be made as a late addition to the poll for a nominal fee.

3rd act construction scene.
Even though it wasn't pleasing to the eyes and a bit confusing to piece things together, you can't deny the pure kickass that was going on in the scene.

Okay, what do I need to give you Mister J? My soul, first born child, my BluRay copy of TDK? :woot:
The exchange rate on souls in this economy simply isn't worth it. Neither is taking on another mouth to feed in the form of a child. Besides, I have no intention of changing my name to Daddy J. Blu-Ray is the instrument of the Devil and will remain so until I decide to stop being cheap.

Let us forgo any remuneration or compensation, for the time being. However, the time may arise (likely in the near future) when I ask a favor of you (possibly a capital offense). At such an instance, recall this good fortune that I have bestowed upon you on this day.

I'm going to have to open a door for Harley aren't I.

Look at the size of that cake, man!

Tough call since they are all good. But my favorites are the opening jail sequence in BB, the arkham sequence including the escape, and the garage sequence in TDK.

quote of the year!

Pretty tough for me, my favorite is probably the nightclub scene, I wish that went on for approximately 60 more seconds :hehe: but the best is between the dock scenes in Begins or the construction building in TDK for me. I understand why the dock one was the cut the way it was, to hide the "dark figure" causing all the mayhem and to save the big reveal for the "I'm Batman." So I don't hate the editing on that fight. I'm gonna vote the dock scene though because it's iconic throughout. Hanging like a bat and swinging by, awesome. :applaud

I love all the fight scenes in TDK. For the 1st time in a Batman movie, I like how they are filmed and choreographed.

The construction site scene all the way. Reason?

The super badass moment when Batman raises his hands and so nonchalantly kicks off the SWAT officer and others get dragged dragged along with him while the camera cuts to the SWAT leader who can't believe what he just saw...not to mention the steady buildup of the two-note Batman theme - I was almost ready to clap and cheer with delight the first time I saw that in the film.

I voted for the opening garage scene from TDK. In all honsoty I had the biggest smile on my face from the moment Batman bent that machine gun to when he got into the tumbler and drove off.

I especially LOVED the part where he got up after being hit by the wall, and as Fenrir mentioned when that two-note theme kicked in I was ecstatic!:batty:

May not count but for me it was definitely the "Heads up, pretty boy!" followed buy clown pwnage.

The nightclub scene was amazing. I loved that Nolan added a scene like that.

The construction site fight. Why? Because never in a Batman movie has Batman laid down the pwnage before until this. And this time he was doing for someting noble, no matter who he had to *****-slap. Also, because it redeemed construction sites as "Places to kick everyone's asses" in my eyes. (Ex. Spider-Man 3.):brucebat:

Seriosuly, though, it was the ferociousity of the fight, having Batman the way he should look, with the white eyes, and, if you can see, the look of struggle and determination in Bale's face, even under the mask.

Had to be parking garage scene from TDK, from the moment he bends the gun and then a quick chop to the guys face right through to crushing the van. Just pure awesome.

Yup. That part was particularly fun, especially because he starts stringing them up right after rigging that elevator to fall. Multitasking Batman! :brucebat:

I also voted for the construction site, because it's really the only time we see him rescuing innocent people instead of just beating up bad guys. The fake Batman were kind of asking for a beat-down because they got themselves in the trouble they were in, but the hostages never asked to be kidnapped by the Joker.

Not to mention, it's always fun seeing a guy like Engel be rescued by someone whose existence he vehemently opposed. :woot:

Night club

but when Batman said "Then your going to love me"

I jumped out of my seat like a fan girl

xD
