As for 2009, there are a lot of films that I have yet to see, but it seems like I'm gonna like Inglourious Basterds, Public Enemies and Avatar so that would be 10 films for 2009. It's tied with 2002, though my vote goes for 2002 since, even though we're talking about summer season, 2009's not at end yet.

Yeah, it wasn't but DarkJediKnight did a list of all the 08 movies for the most part, right?

I would have to say 2008, there were just so many great movies, TDK, Hellboy II, Iron Man, TIH, Prince Caspian, I even loved Hancock and Indy 4. Not to mention Rambo was awesome as well.

2003 was superb also, as was 2004. I also really enjoyed 2002, 2005, 2007 and this year actually.

07's Spider-Man 3 and Transformers got my vote...
08 came up pretty close with Iron Man and TIH, but Spider-man was hyped up far higher than any of those

Spider-man 3 was hyped up alot but did not meet expectations . I'm not talking about the impossible standards we normally ask for either.

By the way,2009 is not as bad as people have said.
Star Trek, District 9, Up, and Drag me to hell were al good films.

Other films I've heard were good but didnt see: Harry Potter, Moon, Inglorious Basterds, The Hangover, and Ponyo

The worst was probably 2007 or 2001
