Calling " 28 Days " a zombie film, would be like calling " Godzilla " a dragon film.

And actually if you really want to get into it, by definition we don't even know if the Zombies of the "Dead" series are Zombies either. Seeing as we'd have to know what it is that brought them back to life. And we never do. Plus, once Ramero gave his Zombies intelligence, according to definition, they were no longer Zombies. The word Zombie in pop culture continues to get redifined all the time.
