so i grabbed all 3...found out at the register that the chick who showed me where they were grabbed a set for herself,and they only go in 2 cases - the *****! she had a nice rack,though,so all was forgiven...


Dude that is freakin hilarious, its always a plus when theres a hot chick working at your local toys r us. However i bet she took the unmasked chase variant Damn you hot chick with nice rack!!!!! Damn you!!!

And me! I found these guys pretty easily too. The only one I had to go out of my way to find was a second unmasked Batman for my MOC collection. There aren't too many scalpers in my area, so far I've only seen like one, so it's easy to go in and take my pick.t:

And ya know what WarrenPeace, Over the last couple of years the scalpers have definitely dwindled down. I remember the days when there would be 8 to 10 of them bastards waiting at toys r us. Now im usually the only person waiting at toys r us. Its an awesome feeling when you know your the only one and you can just take your time in the store.

I remeber on the release date of the MM's, it was a few other people and myself (mostly moms) waiting for the doors to open and as soon as they did, I shot towards the MM figure like the Flash! It was funny cause I was the only one there for the MM's but it still felt like everyone was against me lol. I got that same feeling last week when I went for Two-Face, just me and some moms waiting for the doors to open so we can get our stuff. It was a bittersweet feeling though, it ended just like it began almost the same way two years ago. Ha, that darn unmasked kicking pose got you too huh? Somehow I found someone on a forum and he sold it to me so I lucked out. Now if I can only find someone with a Fear toxin Batman head so I can customize it...

i didnt smooth the clay out i kno i was bored and his paint started to chip . i will redo this and smooth it out and paint it

anyway....currently working on another Gotham City Thug....i think my customizing is at an end,specifically cause i've run out of Thug bodies! i guess i could use Harvey Dent as a replacement....still love to know what would make the perfect Lucius Fox head...

The Alfred custom is really easy, you just need a John Anderson Gladiators figure from the 2008 Character Options Toyline. It doesn't even need painting and there are tons on ebay. Its UK based so if you do search click the Worldwide tab.

I'll be posting more of my customs tomorrow - you can only do two a day - Jim Gordon and Victor Zsasz figures and then maybe I'll post the changes I have made to the released figures too (I increased the height of the Begins Batman figure because as you guys probably found out its a bit shorter than the rest of the Movie Masters.

Lucius has been in my sights for quite awhile. Freeman is such a unique looking man that a figure could only be achieved with a custom head sculpt. Doing research I found there are 1/6 scale custom heads of him for the Hot Toys inclined on ebay but for the Movie Masters crowd the closest thing is the 3 3/4 inch Robin Prince of Thieves action figures from Kenner. However the head on that just looks very generic, quite the joke. I figured that there might have been a Morgan figure for Wanted but no luck.

May of two years ago, the very first of the Movie Masters action figures hit the shelvesand so it began, for the next two years we praied and cursed Mattel for giving us such amazing gifts, these collectable action figures in the 6 inch scale, but being of the most epically failing of companies with the distribution. Joker was the first to present problems, with fume build up, they fixed it with air hole in the packaging. We all waited patiently for the next wave, when it came, when the movie came, no two face, people started customizing using the head of the 5 inch two face, putting it on the body of the Gotham Thug. After a year, we still had nothing new post wave 2, not until recently did we receive new MM figures. And then they were mostly kitbashes when we saw what we would be getting. Batman with flesh paint for costume tears and other “battle damaged” details. We perceviered, we stayed strong, we might have wayned at times (just noticed the pun there lol) but we are still here, we stayed, we weathered the storm. After all the **** Mattel put us through, all our cursing them and thinking of jumping off and thoughts of going down there to do it all ourselves to fix the problems, we waited and we to an extent we won. All in all ,this may be the end for The Dark Knight, but for all of us it is only, the beginning.

what bugs me is,fine,Mattel thinks the MM TDK line is dead...but why not make a generalized DC MM line? they have likeness rights to Reeve,and i'm sure they can get Keaton ( DC Direct did),as well as Terance Stamp,Marlon Brando, Brandon Routh,Kevin Spacey...give us some Superman,and old-school Batman stuff,then plug in some Nolan Batman stuff here and there,and you can have a comprehensive DC Movie line:

Series 1:

Batman (1989)
General Zod
Bruce Wayne ( Bale)
CHASE: Battle-Damaged Batman

Series 2:

Superman (Reeve)
Catwoman ( BR)
Police Officer Joker (TDK)
CHASE: Superman III Kal-El - with darker colors and beard stubble,and evil face

Series 3:

Batman ( BR)
Lex Luthor ( Hackman preferred - if not,then Spacey)
Jim Gordon ( BB)
CHASE: Maskless Batman

Series 4:

Superman ( Brandon Routh)
Penguin ( BR - i can hope,right?!)
Ra's al Ghu l( BB)
CHASE: Battle-Damaged Penguin ( without coat and hat/ bloody face)

...there's 4 series using likenesses and rights they already have,or could easily get ( Keaton) ...i didn't include Nicholson,cause it simply won't happen...we could hope they could talk to DeVito....and they were still putting out Pfeiffer Catwoman toys in the 2000's,so i hope she wouldn't be a problem....

Hey Team Andino i think i have to side with you on Mattel preferes to overcharge us up the ass for 1 figure and no accessories. I mean damn how freakin hard is it to scultp a few accessories for the dark knight and sell them in one pack. They did it for the Masters of the Universe Classics line. Hell they could charge me $20 bucks and i'd gladly pay.

I mean come on, you got the Sticky bomb gun, mini mines, batarangs, all of the handguns including Jokers shotgun, bank robber jokers bag o' grenades, bank robber joker glock with extended clip, oh yeah Batman's freakin grapple gun!!!!! Harvey's revolver ohhhhh the list goes on and on. Damn they could even make the Jokers Pencil for christs sake.

Honestly Mattel could simply keep this line alive by putting out 1 maybe 2 new or re-tooled figures and a damn accessory pack and hey maybe even a new vehicle. Like the Tumbler or even Jokers 18 Wheeler which is an extreme long shot but everything kinda is right now until we here further word.

And for any who didnt read it yet... It's official!!! Mattel will indeed be releasing a Movie Masters Green Lantern Line!!!!!!!!!!!!! Available summer 2011. Now i really really hope the movie is good.

So i guess we also know now that Green Lantern MM's will be the bridging point until until the Third Batman comes out 7/20/2012. So Green Lantern MM's summer 2011 then Third Batman MM's summer 2012. Dont know about you guys but im damn excited.

Now if we could only get something to hold us over until summer 2011...
