Beware the Batman - Part 1

It is but she'll only stab the robot parts instead of actively try to harm his living parts. If she stabs him at all. This is Batman though so I suspect he'll have a pocket EMP on hand in his utility belt to make short work of him.

That does sound like a subtle hint at a green light for season 2, a nice sign indeed.

Good thing she's facing a cyborg this week, isn't it? :cwink:

Also, could this be the sign of a second season in production?

Cypher is a cool looking villain that looks like he got be from Tron. Was he created for the show?

No, no original villains for this season.

Cypher is a very revamped version of an assassin that could mind control people using his soothing, hypnotic voice. He only showed up in four issues, I believe.

I came here to ask the same thing. I had never heard of him till I saw this episode.

I really love how they use these C-List villains so far. I wonder if we'll ever see the likes of Joker, Two Face, Riddler, etc. Or if we'll actually get to see Dick pop up or even Supes.

I would like to see this version of classic villains. I love the use of c list villains especially since they're making them all very interesting.

Another great ep. Cool new opening. Cool villain. Busy traffic. Also the laser heat vision was awesome

This was a good episode....with a twist!

Yeah I also loved the laser heat vision. Epic.

I really like this Cypher guy.

This was probably my favourtie episode so far.

The best villain so far in my view, I don't know what the original version was like but this revamp really worked well. Cypher was creepy and sort of came off as visually like something from Tron but with mind control there was a sinister edge to him, he also made for inventive action scenes.

I think the shows aim is to take lower tier villains and make them A list, like Timm and Dini did with Mr. Freeze, so I doubt we'll be seeing the big guns any time soon if at all.

Good episode, but nowhere as awesome as the last two episodes. I didn't like how rushed Tatsu and Jason's romance was and the "power of love" scene at the end was weak.

I do like Cypher as a villain, though.

That power of love did feel kind of sudden but it was an otherwise solid episode. Although I did think it a tiny bit contrived they made it so Batman was brain-hacked by Cypher so that Katana could save the day.

it may have been a little rushed but at least she showed that she liked him beforehand. That lightshow with building I think softened her heart a little. Then having him hacked pushed her over.

Just my opinion anyway.

it was a great episode. Batman may be kinda rookie, but he's already really good at what he does. Not only is he a true martial artist, he's also a great detective, and his calm attitude often gives him the edge. I like his interactions with Tatsu. The love thing was interesting, because this time, Tatsu learnt something to Batman: you may need your head to win, but you need your heart to stay human.

This looks like the best episode yet, but most importantly we are seeing some behind the scenes within Anarky. He clearly has a partner, perhaps he has a tec' wizard kid Lonnie Machin as his assistant? The real genius behind the scenes?! :) But yeah seriously, this looks like the best episode evah.

I figured he was being goofy and he was talking to the doomsday device he had, hence the crate.

This is a good series too bad many people wrote it off before it even started

The character animations still bother me...but if this gets a second season I can see them upping the quality
