The Dark Knight Biggest Improvement Over BB?

Villains & action.

Joker & Two-Face (in his like 10 minutes) were better than Ra's Al Ghul & Scarecrow put together.

The writing and dialogue.
BINGO ...

The whole script deviates off typical superhero movie beats. Even my father who isn't as into the finer aspects of movie making, etc. noticed this and commented how it made the film much more mature and intelligent then any of the typical comic book movies he's seen before. And he loved BEGINS, and B89.

The fight scenes were never a problem for me in either movie. It fit the style of the story.

The biggest improvements were the dialogue, which subtracted some of the cliched and in some instances corny jokes from the 1st film. And the script structure itself in terms of story was virtually flawless.

Everything. I can't name any significant advantage BB has, except maybe the development of Bruce. But that is understandable given the story and amount of characters.

I think BB is still a better movie, it was about batman and more emotionally involving. I also prefer Ducard Al'Ghul as he doesn't seem like an all out bad guy but an inteligent person who beleaves what they are doing is right. I also like the more chaotic filming of action sequences and felt the ending was more satisfying. (and optimistic)

do u think batman killed in bb and in tdk?

It is an improvement in every possible aspect.

Much better action, much better fight scenes, much better dialogue, no corny lines, much better Batman shots, much better development of the villiains, much better story, much better everything.

Yea that's one of the things that was annoying. The joker is trying to corrupt batman to try get him to break his rule, he supposidly doesn't break it in this movie, he stops the joker from plunging from his death with the big "you truly are incorruptible" speech, didn't stop him leaving our boy Ras to die. He already broke his rule.

I've come to realise that every character in these two movies are tweeked from their comic counterpart.batman doenst kill in the comics but in the movies he doesnt kill directly. He does what is needed to be done.nolan is trying to make bats more like real life. You wouldnt save the person that was trying to kill u and distroy your city would u???he didnt kill the ninjas in the temple he just wanted to get out of there, everyman for himself.but he saved Ra's once but that bit him back then on the train Ra's killed himself by breaking the controls so it couldnt stop, making gordon blow the tracks which was batmans backup plan.Remember bats said to gordon "I MAY need your help"Once again batman saved himself from death and left Ra's on the train. He didnt kill him just left him to fend for himself.
In TDK he didnt kill Twoface directly he just saved the boy.If he didnt save joker that would of made him a killer because he thru him off the building.Hope that helps?
P.S I remember nolan saying that these movies are ment for you to question batman morals and codes.Did he kill them or didnt he?????

I don't necesssary think that TDK was any improvement on BB but more of a compliment to it.

Personally, I liked the fast pace, quick shots of Batman fighting in 'Begins' (I like Batman as more of a wrath or shadow, appears and dissapears) but it just make sense in the 'second act' movie with a larger scale that the fighting and scenes would have to also be 'bigger as the action scenes.

And as great as the Joker and 2 face was inTDK Ras and Screcrow was just as effective in BB.

Ther is one advantage I think BB has on TDk and that is it did focus on Bruce Wayne/ Batman (which makes sense since it was an origin movie) and I will alway loved it for that.

It had incredible suspense. I mean, I love Batman Begins to death, but it was fairly predictable. You know...he beats the villain, and the city doesn't go up in smoke....ehm, steam.
With The Joker, it a whole different game. Because of his viciousness and intelligence he outsmarts everyone, so surprises wait at every corner. The buildup to The Joker crashing the fundraiser was just edge of your seat stuff, and the whole tied-to-boms sequence is absolutely butt-clenching. Man, that was intensly suspenseful.

Everything, really, but particularly the storyline and pacing, much more involving, and much more rewatchable. I have to give a special mention to the score, Zimmer and Newton Howard really brought their A-game to this one, can't stop listening to the score.

I think the biggest improvement is the fight sequences are more visible and you can see him clearly hit people.

I prefer Batman operating in The Narrows. So, for me, BB had that advantage over TDK.

We get more Gordon!!!!!!!! And yep, the writing is much more clever in this one...
