Yeah I appreciate you did it. I myself hadn't read the chapter yet so you saved me from being spoiled.

I think I'll keep doing it myself for the first day the chapter is released to help conserve any surprises for those that haven't read the chapter yet.

the problem with super powerful characters are the....what where they doing when the story was taking place, just hanging out smoking and drinking and then decided to battle it out?

how would these super powerful characters stack up to azien(hes still the best character tite created, because he trolls hard and fast)

Bleach ep.366 [Final...?]

What else can be said that hasn't already been stated? It was a beautiful and suiting ending for a great anime.

It was incredibly sad and every moment was laced with more emotion than usual but in typical Studio Pierrot fashion they make sure their endings always end on a high note rather than a low one. You get a much better sense of Ichigo's plight and then satisfaction once he was restored of his Shinigami abilities with the edits that SP made.

Very touching stuff but I'm glad that SP left hints that the anime will be back with Ichigo telling Rukia that it doesn't matter how many times he says "Ja ne" as he'll see her again and then once again at the very end he tells the audience he'll see us again. I'm sure once the manga wraps up they'll adapt the arc and I sincerely hope Stuido Pierrot gets to do it.

With a finished final arc I believe Studio Pierrot deserves and should be the one to animate it. I love their style and with a completed arc they'll be able to give us quality animation that focuses on everything to the last detail.

I appreciate the anime for being able to give me the little moments. I loved watching the little exchange between Ichigo and Rukia at the end. They're friendship is one of my favorite aspects of the manga/anime. It wasn't as touching as after the defeat of Aizen but it wasn't suppose to be.

Side Note: Don't care much for Byakuya's new look now that I've seen it animated. It seems he might be going for a less regal look but it felt like Kubo just did a whole bunch of random accessories on everybody to indicate the passage of time.

Hey, i began to watch the show and have just ended the soul society arc, from what i saw in the Bleach wikia the episodes until 109 are fillers, should i watch them? Are them any good?

If I were you I'd go through all the canon material first and skip the filler for now. Some of the filler is good but I'd save it as a means of "extra" fodder for once you finish the canon arcs if you're itching for more Bleach stories.

Thanks, i'll see episode 64 since it seems like it has some things from the manga and then i'll go right to the next canonical arc.

By the way, i remember hearing that the writer of the manga originally wanted to end the story at a certain point but that the editors told him to continue, or something similar to this, anybody has an idea if this is true?

From this forum i know that the manga is right now in its final arc, but anybody knows if it was supposed to end earlier?

I had always heard Kubo had intended to end after the Soul Society arc. But it was so popular he continued it.

That actually makes sence, then the plan to use Sokyoku to destroy sould society would have been used instead of Aizen just wanting to take Hogyoku

So it appears Sasakibe is [BLACKOUT]on the level of Ukitake and Kyouraku if he was able to master his bankai that early.[/BLACKOUT] For him to use it to defend his Commander but fail is quite tragic. I expect Yamamoto to unleash his fury at some point to avenge his Lieutenant.

With this new information I find it quite annoying that Ichigo was able to swat him to the side when rescuing Rukia.

Things are definitely feeling a lot more concise since the Substitute arc. Chapter 487 was great. [BLACKOUT]We got to see the return of Harribels fraccions which was pretty awesome and seeing Menoly and Loly was pretty neat as well. Definitely a good splash of nostalgia there.[/BLACKOUT]

Ichigo rushing to save them is no surprise and I'm really interested to see their reaction because [BLACKOUT]Menoly and Loly still seem to have their allegiance towards Aizen[/BLACKOUT].

The pacing in this chapter alone is better than anything we saw in the last arc as well. It seems like Kubo has definitely thought this one out far more than the last one which felt like a bare bones version of Chapter Black. It had potential but ultimately there was little to no pay off. Anyways it's great to see Kubo back in form.

so is the anime done after the Xcution story arc?

they are not going to animate the final arc playing out in the manga right now?

Well we don't really know but it's pretty likely. Apparently the fillers were starting to hurt the DVD sales and it didn't help that the Substitute Shinigami arc itself wasn't doing as great as Bleach was before so T.V Tokyo was becoming disappointed as well.

So for the mean time the anime is in hiatus/cancelled but Studio Pierrot and Tite Kubo hinted through Twitter it'll be back. Seeing as the "The Final Arc" chapters have been pulling in much better rankings then the last arc we'll eventually get this last arc animated.

Craig...I honestly have drifted from anime such as Naruto and Bleach for a long while now.

I have kept track though.

Last Anime of Bleach I saw was 225...Do you know what I should skip and whats out of the manga so I can catch up with the stories faster?

I hated the filler nonsense which I never really saw, but there was way too many of them

Filler Episodes (from where you left off): 227-266, 287, 298-99, 303-305, 311-341, 355

That should be correct as far as I know. The rest of the major ones are 64-108, 128-137, 168-189.

Yeah absolutely Poeman. I don't blame you the filler stuff can be tedious.

Well you have one more episode of cannon material for that arc so finish off episode 226.

Skip to episode 266-302. Episodes 303-305 are filler/side stories so skip those. 306-310 to finish off the "Downfall/Aizen" arc.

Then skip all every episode of the Gotei Evading Army filler arc for the exception of episode 342 which is actually a more elaborated version of Ichigo and Rukia's goodbye with one another.

343-366 is pretty much all canon (with the exception of 355 like Liam said) and covers the Substitute Shinigami arc.

Here's a cool little gif showing how much Kubo's style has changed since he first started. A lot softer now and the facial contours on his characters faces especially. Big improvement on the shape and detail of the eyes as well.

Wow was Chapter 489 incredible or what? Best chapter of the entire arc so far and as much as it bothers me to say this it was better than any chapter in the Substitute Shinigami arc.

This is what I'm talking about. There was so much depth and intrigue and I love that the plot building is so rich. Mayuri isn't holding back when blaming Yamamoto for all of this. Is there more behind all of this than what appears?

Gah so many questions but the detective work by VC Kira was incredibly awesome. The pacing was terrific by the way.

I'm right now in episode 190 of the anime, skiped the fillers, but read some information of what they were about, and i considering that the main story doesn't seem to be going to focus on this, i think that fillers that explored hell would have been interesting.

It was once mentioned but i tought it was going to get a bigger storyline, instead it was only feagtured in a film.
