Bleach - Part 1

If this is how Kubo sends this character out I'd be really impressed.

We've been down this road before. Kudos to Kubo if he actually goes through with it.

Quite a popular character, but to have him go out so unceremoniously is quite a thing.

He was disintegrated into a solid wall. You'd think [blackout]Byakuya [/blackout]would have a more fitting and graceful ending. Then again death doesn't give you the choice of choosing your own demise and in that regard it's pretty ballsy on Kubo's part.

Unceremoniously is the perfect word.

I wonder if [BLACKOUT]Kenpachi[/BLACKOUT] would really be the next to go, he shouldn't stand a chance against their leader.

I don't think Kenny is going to die. In fact I think we have a big revelation coming up.

I've always found the leader of the Vandenreich to be oddly similar in terms of facial sturcture to Ken.

Don't you guys find it weird that he can't communicate with his Zanpakuto or unlock its shikai or bankai? I'm going to guess that he's related to the leader of the Vandenreich and is actually a Quincy unbeknownst to him. I also find it weird how he didn't have a name late into his adulthood.

He's always been something of a mystery. Maybe I'm completely wrong but I know I don't see Ken dying.

Kenpachi!
Kubo brings a smile to my face every time he draws the badassery of this character.
If he dies, then this manga just won't be the same to me.

Please Kubo, don't kill my favorite character.

Kempachi is already going to fight the main villain of the arc huh? For an arc that's supposed to last very long i wonder where this is going next, if they are really that big of a threat for the sould king to appear and when is badass is going to return:

You thought it was Grimmjow didn't you :woot:

Now that I think about it, I think Grimmjow and other Espadas will be a nice ace of spades, since their release is similar to the Bankai and they'll most likely be able to use it.

But then again, Harribel apparently wasn't a match against them.

You know who would actually really come in handy right about now? The Fullbringers. That's the only reason why it seems they haven't been able to take Ichigo's bankai away from him.

Ginjou Kuugo and Tsukishima could really be useful right about now. Too bad they're dead. :(

There are still more Fullbringers out there, i hope that even after the poor reception of that arc Kubo brings them back, it would be a shame for them to just disappear.

Well I was mainly bringing up Tsuki and Ginjou as they're the most powerful ones that we knew of. The others sort of got destroyed by the rest of the Captains while they barely made an effort and we see how much trouble they're having against the Vandenreich.

I think seeing Jackie, Yukio and Riruka again is plausible. Heck even Chad could be useful in SS right now.

I hoped that was Grimmjow that saved Urahara a chapter ago. I liked his character and hope to see him and the remaining Espadas take part in this fight. The unholy alliance to take down a common threat.

I hope everyone gets cut down, then we can bring in the Zero Squad.

****!!! they
killed of Byakuya!!!!

I think it is Grimjow who's pointing that sword to Urahara, and i bet there are going to be some aliances, still it doesn't make much sence that the Soul Royal guards are going to appear now but didn't help when Aizen was moping the floor with the entire soul society

They weren't being offed like this by Aizen though, I mean can't even think of one legitimate character on the good side that died during the whole invasion. I'm not counting Gin. That is if Kubo make these deaths stick.

Death between allies is something i think Bleach should have more, even by the end of the Hueco Mundo arc where the stakes were higher no allie died, so many cool espadas killed but no shinigami sacrificed. Hope this time it's different, but i'm not expecting much, it's not the first time we see Shinigamis being fatally stabed, only for them to return all healthey some time later

Except Byakuya wasn't just stabbed. He was blown into wall and turned into a giant pool of blood splatter.

when do you think we'll hear more about the WB live action adaptation?

I don't know, seems like one of those projects that are announced but eventually disappear and are forgotten by the studio, i actually think there's pontencial as long as they don't make it based on Soul Society arc.

I'm very interested to see where they take it.......

I'd LOVE to see a proper Bleach live-action film on the big screen.

but, logistically, it'll be very tough to pull off.......

The Soul Society arc probably should be left for the second movie. They could focus on Ichigo's first shinigami days with an interesting super hollow villain, besides the weaker hollows.

I think that the first film could be his first days as a shinigami and the final villain could be gran fisher. The 2nd film could be him meeting the quincy until Rukia going back to soul society and him learning the name of his sword, the 3rd film be completelly about the soul society arc
