I dont get how poeple think Hulk showing up at the end of Ultimates ruins Ult Woverine vs Hulk. Whats so suprising, you all know Hulk would eventually come back to America.

I didn't wanna see Bruce or Logan anywhere in the ultimate universe until their mini was wrapped up.

Yup, that totally killed the mini now....:(

how?

you knew after reading the first two issues that it's sole purpose in life was going to be a well drawn slugfest. nothing more, nothing less. you also knew that neither character was going to die.

Annihilation: Nova - A good book, and I think better than the recent Nova issues. I really liked the interaction between Quasar, Nova, and Drax. And it looks like **** finally hit the fan. :D

Uncanny X-Men - I'm assuming that the continuity went like this: Uncanny, Uncanny Annual, and then New Excalibur. Based on that assumption, the books tied together VERY nicely.

With that out of the way, I liked Uncanny. It was concise and yet still complete, and Psylocke is fun.

Uncanny X-Men Annual - I'm usually not one for dream sequences and such, but I think this was handled well. Ororo sincerely does some spirit-delving and comes out stronger.

I was genuinely annoyed that the X-Men crew were so inept for such an extended period of time there...I mean, when Cannonball has his blast field on isn't he impervious to bullets?

Otherwise it was a good read. It felt a tiny bit rushed, but what can you do, it's an Annual.

New Excalibur - Call me weird, but Nocturne is a friggin' hottie, so far as two-dimensional drawings go. I'd toss her the hammer before Dazzler or Sage any day of the week.

A great explanation to the Evil Professor thing, and I honestly didn't think Shadow King would make an appearance in this storyline. It felt a little rushed, like Uncanny Annual, but I'll excuse it as this was the last issue of the current arc.

And Juggernaut endears himself to me more and more every issue.

New Avengers - WOW! I loved it. You get to see a little into Magneto, and you get to see a little into Agent Hill. I think from this point forward I'll see her as a little more human and a little less *****. For those who don't like Bendis, I say fie on you; this book was a great read.

And you gotta love those oh-not-so-subtle dishes at Superman with the whole "You still want to fly something into the sun?"

Astonishing X-Men - A good read, and while I absolutely loved seeing Wolverine reduced to a child, the rest of the book felt a little...odd. I don't really know what it was, but the best word to describe it is odd.

Eternals - PICK OF THE WEEK! This book rocks, and I honestly was biased against it because I dislike Gaiman's actual fantasy works. His books always struck me as street-level, whereas I like epic quality in my fantasy. However, his street-level expertise created wonders here, as every character he introduced felt a hundred percent real.

Star Wars: Legacy - A good book for what it's worth, and that's a set-up issue. I almost feel as if this should have been issue #0, as opposed to that technical mumbo-jumbo we got in the actual one. Either way, a good enough read, and the art blew the water out of every other book this week. I'll keep on eye on this series, if only for the art alone.

Superman Batman 27 - Loeb's gone but this title is STILL weird. We get an unexplained future team-up, body switching, and then it all turns out to be a dream leading into the current SG arc. They should seriously retitle the damn thing THE STRANGE ADVENTURES OF SUPERMAN/BATMAN or something. At least it was comprehensible in a nonsensical kinda way: no dimension hopping. Oh, and CATWOMAN readers shouldn't read this as it possibly spoils the story in that book.
Thats because this book is Power Girl remembering her pre-crisis days with Earth-2 Superman and Batman. Thats all if you read IC and Power Girls origin they you would understand the story more.

52 is so good. I'm honestly amazed that they've gone this far with zero delays. Props to them for keeping a schedule AND writing a solid book.

Flash OYL was hmmmm, I'd really like to see a deaged Jay as the Flash. THAT would be a cool dynamic. Interesting storyline.

Read Uncanny X-Men in the store. Good stuff. I like the Braddock family a ton.

Ultimates was GREAT. I know what Iron Man 6 looks like, so that should be ASTOUNDINGLY cool. Loki is such a badass.

Justice - Pick of the week. Nice to see the second stringers getting a chance to shine. DC has been very very kind to their non-A listers these days, and I for one love it.

You can do that? I'll have to try reading them for free sometimes. :p

my shop lets me read titles in the store, rant about how Marvel is "f"ing up and I get to look thru the previews of next week.

I think this may have been the best issue yet. Good stuff

I thought Nocturne was a hottie since Exiles, especially with the dreads. Guess I dig blue chicks.

^^Blink is my comic woman of choice, and I usually hate the color purple. Go figure. Maybe it's the dress

Is it like a Hulkbuster suit? The chamber it's in is like 3x the size of the other five in space

What does Iron Man 6 look like? Did they already show a preview of the new suit?

Okay... before I get to my reviews, I just want to say something. SHUT UP!!!! Okay, good to get that out of my system. And that SU is aimed at everyone who's assuming the worse for everything. Hulk showing up in Ultimates doesn't ruin a thing in Hulk Vs Wolverine... and Bendis went out of his way to TELL YOU that Magneto isn't dead. Stop assuming crap and then blaming Marvel for the crap you're assuming. Just read the freakin' stories and enjoy them for what they are. Okay.. now to my reviews.

Eternals 1 - I wasn't sure what to expect of this book but I ended up really liking it. I've never been a fan of the Eternals and my only real exposure to them was Sersi during the Proctor storyline back in the 90's, and Earth X, an alternate future story. I really liked this story and the route that it's going. I'll be getting this trade if it keeps up the good work.

New Avengers 20 - I liked the issue, and the arc overall. I liked the inclusion of Xorn, but I didn't like how even with his mentioning, they still didn't explain anything about how the whole Xorn/Magneto/Xorn II thing works. It seems that Magneto's going to get his powers back, and that's cool. It's obvious that he didn't die in the end by whatever it was that Director Hill had said about not believing him to be dead. They didn't show him alive, but they pretty much told you that he isn't dead. Overall, good issue.

Ultimates 2 11 - Good issue. I didn't get into it as much as last issue, but it was still good. I didn't like them killing Laura Bush, that was stupid and kinda tasteless. I agree with whoever it was that said it earlier, the book's great, but it'd be better without the anti-bush stuff. Once again, Hawkeye proves to be the coolest character on the team. And I wasn't much on the Hulk ending, as it's kinda the same thing that happened in Volume 1. Major fight, here comes the Hulk. It didn't get any reaction out of me.

Uncanny X-Men 474 - Bleh. I was hoping for something cool from this Jamie story but we didn't get it.

Uncanny X-Men Annual 1 - This ended up being better than I was expecting. The story was good and Storm's dream sequences were interesting. I did have 3 issues with it though. Issue 1: Wolverine's been with Storm in Africa the whole time, but then the X-Men show up and he's nowhere? Issue 2: The X-Men were having issues with the people, but Cannonball could have taken them out on his own (impervious blasting and all that). Issue 3: This issue takes place before Storm gave T'Challa her 'yes' answer. Correct me if I'm wrong, but in the Black Panther issues she never left his side between his asking and her answer. Continuity error, and the editors are out to lunch once again (unless I'm remembering it wrong).

New Excalibur 8 - Excellent issue! It did seem kinda rushed, like this could have been a good 2 or 3 issues, but it was still good. I've been wondering what the mystery of the Evil X-Men is, but I never saw the Shadow King coming as an option. I also liked seeing Captain Britain use something that he hasn't used in forever, his super speed. Good issue and a good set up for Claremont's run on the Exiles, with Psylocke's vanishing. My only question in it was this... Shadow King supposivly went to another dimension after Psylocke's death, but he was shown in the X-Treme X-men Annual to have survived and attack Rogue. I think something was overlooked there, Unless I'm forgetting something.

Nova 3 - Good issue, though not a great one. I've never really gave a lick about Quasar, but I liked seeing him, Nova, and Drax all together. He came accross as a true hero, and I like that. Can't wait for next issue.

Astonishing X-Men 15 - Good issue. I'm a sucker for the Students, so it was awsome seeing Hisako step out and take on feral Beast and win. I am so sick of the line "I'm the best at what I do, and what I do ain't pretty"... so needless to say, I was tickled at the new rendition. I literally laughed out loud at that scene. I find Ord and Danger's team up to be interesting and something that I think is moreso leading up to the next arc, the major Breakworld storyline. I still don't know who the traitor is going to be though. I don't think it's Emma, that's too obvious. Overall it's a great book!

OWWWW that hurt:(

I like how hes telling us to stop assuming things, yet he assumes the latest issues of Ultimate doesnt ruin the reading experience of Utlimate Hulk vs. Wolverine and assumes (by telling us that Bendis yelled it at us) that he didnt kill of Magneto or at least makit it seem so. Ironic.
