DC disappoints me. Week by week the number of DC books I buy goes down.

its okay, DC isn't for everybody, only the big kids, you can read your spiderman and x men and play with your spiderman and friends toys:p

It's mainly because he hadn't read any of the build up. IC wasn't the sort of thing you could jump into blindly, which is likely what he did.
It is true that I didn't read the build-up, however, I did follow the events in Wizard for months prior to it.

Regardless, the mini should have been able to stand on its own. It's one thing to build up to a story, but the required reading for Infinite Crisis was far more than a casual DC fan could be expected of. The build-up helped Civil War, but if you take out the build-up, it still makes sense. That's what I found lacking in IC. I bought the Identity Crisis HC a while back, and I loved it. I really did. As a mainly Marvel guy, I found myself entranced by the story and I loved that I wasn't forced to read anything else to understand it. A mini series should compell you to read cross-overs, not force you.

Add in the fact that DC is, supposedly, altering the artwork for the up-coming trade (or HC), and I really feel like I didn't get my money's worth.

52#7
excellent issues, first apperance of the new Batwoman charcter :) and most of the story was focused on Renee and Booster, that's what i like to see :) abit dissapionted that the question had been absent the last few issues though.

If by "big kids" you mean pseudo-intellectuals who enjoy reading one-dimensional characters and posting on message boards as if they're superior to those reading comics that are actaully interesting, then we concur.

i can't believe someone called the art in ultimates rushed...personally i thought it was one of the strongest in the series, you could just feel the perez influence in all those crowded scenes.

Is this like the typical Marvel Zombie response? You know most of us here *gasp* like both Marvel and DC.

To be fair he was only responding to someone else's patronising remarks.

I USED to think someone posted the dumbest thing I've ever read on these boards. You have taken that spot. Congrats.

Don't worry Doc Destruction, to me, you'll always be the guy who posts the dumbest things on the hype.

Oh, well, never mind Doc Destruction, I forgot about WOLVERINE25TH:(

Yeah so was Flash #1 any good?
The guys at the shop put a copy in everyone's box. I'll probably get it, but I want to know how good it is because I need gas money and really can't afford to buy another title. :(

Apparently on here more people hate it than like it. Check out DC forums for the two threads.

As a witness to your taste, I take this as a compliment of the highest order. ;)

Pffft, I thought it was okay. I'll hold judgement for a few issues.

This should tell you a lot Ben.

Oh please, it wasn't that bad. It was hardly Kingdom Come or anything, but far worse has come out lately.
