Arrow Brandon Routh IS Ray Palmer/The Atom

It looks ok. The helmet is kind of off-putting to me, but I'm not sure why.

Hopefully the shrinking effects are Tron Legacy equivalent.

Not bad. I'd have to see it in action though. Mockingbird's "costume" looked okayish in still photos on AOS but then it just looks very dark and indistinguishable from other dark jumpsuits in live action. Will he get a mask or just have the clear visor? As someone else said, it does look a bit Rollerball-ish. The clear helmet visor adds to that.

SIIIIIIIIIICK! :up::up::up::up::up:

Or he may just forego the whole secret identity thing , but I doubt that. His company's stockholders would not like that he's risking his life like that.

Vale: Mmm-mmm.
Ray Palmer: Well, good, because that would be outlandish and, uh, fantastic. I'm just not the hero type. Clearly. With this laundry list of character defects, all the mistakes I've made, largely public.
Hal Jordan: [whispers to Palmer] Just stick to the cards, man.

Palmer: Yeah, okay.

Palmer: [holds up his notes and pauses] The truth is...
Palmer:[puts cards down] I am The Atom .

It looks really cool, imo. The helmet doesn't look as cool as everything else, but it's fine.

Really like it

I think the suit looks great. And as for the visor, I'd say

A) It can be darkened when needed

B) Ray plans on being a public superhero and won't be keeping his identity a secret (which is what I'm honestly hoping for, it would make for a good dynamic between him and Oliver)

After seeing that suit, I think someone else should get an upgrade. Now I know they can do it, if they want to.

That looks fine for the video game, but I think it would look just as cumbersome and bulky as the current outfit in live action. The mask is a lot better, though.

I'm hoping for Plan B. It'd be nice to have an avowedly public superhero.

I can't get over how damn fine of a suit that is, especially for a TV show.

I would love it if they did since i don't feel the hockey mask.

Except for the helmet, it looks better made than the Ant-man's leather suit.

I guess they had to make it a visor so it would be easier for him to speak and not fog up. It still amazes me that Routh got a second chance at a DC hero.

The only one in the modern era of live-action superhero projects to do so, I do believe. Chris Evans (Human Torch/Captain America) is the only one to do so in the Marvel universe, and Ryan Reynolds (Deadpool/Green Lantern) and Ben Affleck (Daredevil/Batman) have one DC and one Marvel hero each.
