Marie is definitely offing herself with the poison she looked up online.

Am I the only.still rooting for Walt

No, you're not. "Rooting" may not be the best choice of words, though.

I see Walt as a tortured soul who I feel sympathy for and I hope he finds peace. Looks like that will come in the form of death. :csad:

We are based in Albuquerque and our focus is on Mental Health, we naturally LOVE Breaking Bad! Although we are sad to see the show come to a close and leave our fair city, we do recognize that all good things must come to an end.

We would like to honor the end of Breaking Bad with bringing awareness to mental health and addictions treatment in our community. HealthShire is partnering with Sage Neuroscience Center to give two scholarships for addictions treatment in Albuquerque, NM. This Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is a 12-week addictions treatment program that focuses on building the tools and acquiring the skills required to break addiction and begin the journey to recovery.

Healthshire is dedicated to bringing much-needed attention to the state of mental health and its treatment in New Mexico, the United States, and across the globe. We will be posting multiple blogs about addiction and its treatment every week during the contest and beyond in an effort to bridge together a supportive mental health community.

Kind of an odd promotion but if it helps people then kudos to them

This episode that this song all over it, it almost seems more appropriate than Gus's final walk.

I wonder if it was difficult for the actors to act in that easer. I mean, after the journeys their characters have been through, it must be hard to reenact their original mindsets and relationships.

A few things I'm wondering about:

1. What's Marie going to use poison for?

2. How will Todd's crush on Lydia feature into the endgame? Come to think of it, what role will Lydia play in the finale?

3. Why did Walt get the ricin? It could be for suicide, but wouldn't a bullet to the head be faster?

4. Who wrote Heisenberg on his wall?

I think the Heisenberg graffiti was just a bunch of kids trying to be thug, like someone else said a few pages back, Walter white/ Heisenberg is probably an urban legend in ABQ, idolized in gangster culture like scare face.

Am I the only one who thinks Walt Jr. is scum for saying Walt pulled a knife on Skyler when Skyler was the one who pulled the knife on Walt? And actually cut him?

Walt Jr. is truly a monster! He'll be eating breakfast in prison pretty soon.

He was protecting his mom (who only pulled the knife to protect him) from his psychotic, murderer, meth-king dad. I think it was justified.

He just found out his dad, who he idolized, was a ruthless drug dealer who he thinks is complicit in the death of his beloved uncle. He's also only, what, 17? It's understandable, especially after seeing his parents wrestle with the knife.

That's quite an OTT reaction given that without Junior's intervention, Walt was in all likeliness going to murder his mother in the heat of the moment.

Anyone else think it was absolutely tragic that even when the game was up, Walt still thought he could fob his family off with "I'll explain later"?

I agree that Walt Jr. acted properly but Walt wasn't going to murder her. He got on top of her and disarmed her, he was more confused and stunned than angry.

I didn't like it either but it's obvious the revelations about Walt, especially regarding Hank, who Jr looked up to, have hit him incredibly hard as you'd expect. He's firmly on his mother's side now and will say whatever he has to in order to keep her, Holly, and himself safe.

But I didn't like it.

I don't know. I agree it wasn't walt's intent to murder but he wasn't going to leave until they both came with him either and who know's what sort of actions/accidents could have transpired in that time? he also was indeed brandishing the knife at them at that point.

Jr. was very smart in calling the cops in that regards to get his dad out of the house.

Don't forget it's debatable whether walt ever intended to kill mike and look what happened when his emotions took over?

I just watched the scene and as far as I could see Walt wasn't brandishing a knife at them. Once he has Skyler on the ground he's holding the knife away from her and he drops it when Walt Jr. tackles him. That being said I agree the situation had spiraled out of control and Walt Jr. did the right thing by defusing it by essentially putting himself between them and calling the authorities.

In the case of Mike though, there's also that by no means did he ever consider Mike to be family (he outright disliked him in fact) and as we've seen over the last two episodes whatever is left of Walt its that he still cares deeply about them even at his own personal expense.

I just don't see a scenario where he willingly threatens them with violence or hurts one of them, if there had been a fatality it would have been accidental.

He may have a change of heart in the months of his hiding or whatever but rescue or not I don't want to see Jesse depicted forgiving Walt.
i agree.

i am not suprised that some people would like a redemption from Walt. they can not let it go. Walter White was just a way to good man in the first season. he deserved the life and have money. thats good writting from Vince Gilligan. fans can not let it go. and thats why the ending will work.

I don't agree with this. That's the story he has concocted for himself, but it's bull crap. Walt sabotaged himself because of his pride and ego. It all goes back to The Grey Matter split. He left because Gretchen's family was rich, and he felt inadequate. He made an emotional decision, left her and the company, took a meager payout and then rewrote his own history to make himself out to be the victim after Grey Matter became successful. He didn't have to resort to crime to take care of his family and treat his cancer. All he had to do was take the job at Grey Matter, which meant swallowing his pride. Elliot was not even asking him to swallow his pride, because he and Gretchen were oblivious to the reason Walter left.

The world didn't crap on Walter. He crapped on himself.
