a bit late but i just spent the last 4 and a half days watching every episode upto this weeks episode

my brother in law is always saying i should watch it so i decided to check it out, having absolutely no idea what the show was about i came in completely fresh and needless to say i am really impressed

its been a long time since i've been so invested in a tv show and the characters on it
the writing, directing and the way its filmed is so engaging, arguably the best show on tv right now

To be fair to Jesse he didn't ask Walt to come and save him and he paid Walt back by refusing to give the green light to Gus killing him.

This is true.

Oh yeah...Jesse also stole meth behind Walt's back to sell on the skreet.

YES!! Yes yes a thousand times yes!!! And there are MORE of these?!

Yeah, they are extras on one of the dvds.

Wait what? Elliot and Gretchen bought the same air filtration unit and Hector called Gus general? I don't remember that at all

It's a testimonial from Elliot on the Madrigal Electromotive website and Hector called Gus General to Don Eladio, I presume, on the phone in the flashback scene with the brothers(when they were young) who tried to kill Hank.

I wonder what Elliot and Gretchen's reaction will be when it's revealed (I suppose it will be revealed?) that Walter is Heisenberg.

Dean Norris is fast becoming a legend in my eyes. His twitter is always entertaining and he was the only good thing about Under the Dome.

This one really got me. I'm not a big celebrity twitter follower but i'll probably make an exception for dean.

-edit-

this one's pretty relevant right now haha

So Walt disillusions Junior AND Todd in one episode. Way to go, Walt.
This is old, I know, but I was catching up on this thread and wanted to mention that reminding me of this made this episode even better for me. "Ozymandias" was about the destruction of Walt's current life in general, but it was more specifically about the loss of his family. It didn't occur to me when I was watching it, but beyond just his married and biological relatives, he also destroys his connection with all three of his "sons." Walt, Jr. obviously sides with Skyler after Walt reveals himself to be a violent bastard who'd rather risk stabbing his wife and child than just realizing he's done more harm than good and leaving them. Walt literally condemns Jesse to death for his betrayal, even though Walt betrayed Jesse long before and in numerous ways, some subtle, some child-poisoningly un-subtle. But I didn't actually notice before that Walt also alienates Todd, the son he would've wanted when he started cooking but his relationship with Jesse ruined. Walt was kind of like a god in Todd's mind, and there's nothing more humbling than seeing a god laid low. Walt collapsing and sobbing uncontrollably shamed Todd so much that his perfect image of Walt was utterly broken, to the point that he even felt perfectly comfortable lying to Walt's face about Jesse later on. DAMN IT, this show is too good! :hrt:

Do you guys think Marie is one of the people who is responsible for defacing the White house? You've seen her talk about doing something horrible to Walt and since he's gone why not his house?

Nah, I think it's probably some street kids after the story goes public and the White residence is abandoned. Although it would be hilarious to see Marie tagging the s*** out of Walt's house, tears streaming down her face and rage in her heart. I know I should feel bad for her, but I still kind of like seeing Marie go to pieces even now.

"I know I've been looking up poisons to use on Walt.... but since he's not here, I guess I'll have to settle for vandalism! That'll really hit him where it hurts!"

:funny:

Has it been brought up that Todd shed a tear for Hank? It's really quick, but you see him wipe it shortly after Jack kills him. I think Walt's reaction kind of disturbed him. He had no such reaction or remorse after Drew Sharpe's murder. He definitely idolized Walt.

A few pages from the end of the previous thread, yeah. But I and some others consider it more a reaction to Walt's reaction than to Hank's death. Like I said above, I think Todd shed a tear of shame for his former idol after seeing the death of some filthy fed, brother-in-law or not, reduce him to a bawling mass in the dirt.

Do you guys think the next episode will take place in the current timeline or jump ahead? The 'next on' makes me believe it'll stay in the current but it'll need the time to establish what happens several months later when Walt's on the lam

The preview showed White with (still) a bald head. I think there will definitely be at least some scenes taking place in the current timeline.

Did u sleep? Eat?

The show has about 60 episodes so u must be really dedicated becuz that's like spending all waking hours watching BB :wow:

Dunno if I could do that and retain all the details of this show

I'm thinking next week's episode will have Walt going to Saul in a mini-flashback to scenes from last episode then a big jump forward. But I'm at the mercy of Vince and co so since I think that's what's going to happen I'm sure they will deliver something I never saw coming

I don't think we can learn anything new by showing Walt meet with Saul. Just like we didn't need to see Gomez shot. Not everything needs to be shown. Next episode will probably start with Walt already in New Hampsire.

:hehe:

AMC should delay the finale a week and air this as an episode first.

What if Walt Jr is the one to spray paint Heisenberg?

I think they said all that needed to be said with Grey Matter. I don't really understand how people can think things like Grey Matter and Gustavo Fring's past are plot holes or loose threads.

I'm positive I read an article awhile back about how Gretchen would return for an episode. Maybe as a flashback? I'm sure someone here knows what I'm talking about.
