Breaking Bad - Part 10

Anyone see Aaron Paul on Kimmel yesterday? Guess who showed up...

I still can't believe that in less than 2 weeks it will all be over, such a void like an endless chasm will be left

I know. :csad:

Breaking Bad ruined television for me once already by just being so damn good, and now it's going to ruin it for me a second time by ending.

I'm a Daily Show and Colbert guy but you bet your sweet dipping sticks I'll be tuning in to Conan Monday to see the whole BrBa gang before the finale, no DVR but I can catch reruns later and that will be a historic moment for TV
It's weird having the entire cast on before the finale rather than after it.

Will they be doing some giant post-mortem on Talking Bad or similar after the finale airs?

Nothing beside remains. Round the decay of that colossal wreck, boundless and bare, the lone and level sands stretch far away...

It's weird how Breaking Bad has become this very mainstream thing now in its last season. It used to be I would try and tell people about it, but they usually had never even heard of it. Now it's like, even if not everyone watches it, it seems like most people at least know what it is.

Which is awesome in its own way, the series will end (most likely...hell, it will) on a high note and it's finally getting noticed and loved from the general audience. What a perfect way to end a great television series.

The critical acclaim for this show in its last season is insane! Insane to the point that it's now in the Guinness Book of World Records as the most critically acclaimed show of all time. This is definitely going to be a show that's going to live on through the ages and will be remembered for years to come.

Does R.J. Mitte mean knock us out, like, physically? :p

The way he tackled Walt then moved to protect Skyler was such a well-done scene. It just happened so quickly and naturally.

I know. My friend finally got me to watch it during season 3, because he wouldn't shut up about it. And then I was hooked. But before that I was like "*pfff*.... AMC was a one-hit wonder with 'Mad Men.' I bet this show sucks." Pretty ignorant. Now, ironically I love it much more than I ever liked Mad Men (still great, but BB is on a different level).

I started watching Breaking Bad last month. I originally ignored it because it looked like a generic action show to me (that's seriously what I thought it was). Now it's easily my favorite live-action TV show.

rian johnson said in his commentary for the episode that RJ actually hurt bryan in that scene a little bit and he had some neck problems after it ^^

probably was a little too excited to do his first stunt :D

Can someone please explain to me why they split up this season? I just don't get what would be the benefits in doing that.

Anticipation. Or torture. Vince Gilligan is a sadomasochist. :o

What? You have a link for that. I kind of...can't see that. I figured The Sopranos would hold such a record forever until some other mob show came along and knocked it off.

I was against the split of the final season. AMC just did the same thing with Mad Men's final season. Just a way to stretch the shows on longer and somehow make more money in the long run.

Some fans saying doing it this way the show lost some stream.

Wait! They've split the final season of Mad Men up?! Ugh! Like, 8 and 8 like Breaking Bad?

This is partially true, but if I recall, there was more to it than that. AMC wanted to cut the season down to something like 10 episodes due to budget issues. This was kind of an in the middle compromise that ended up benefiting both parties with the ratings surge.
