Breaking Bad - - Part 11

I loved the main theme playing at the end of the episode. It felt like 'here it is, the beginning of the end'.

Me too! Was a great use of music on the show (yet again).
It's nearly over!

In some ways I'm glad, there's barely much more I can take. Regardless of what he did and how he got there, I was always on side with Walt. But to see him lose everything, well, it's heart breaking.

And THEN I think about Jesse. And that just sends me over the edge.

Robert ****ing Forster.

That was awesome. I actually met him earlier this year at a Sideways screening so when he was revealed to be the ID guy my friend and I flipped the **** out. Really nice guy too. He must have just finished shooting his part beforehand.

Hearing that main theme kick in really hit me that this show is coming to an end. And I'm ready. Kind of. Sorta. Not really. :(

i really dont like the choice of the writers to kill off andrea... i get it, this is a dark show, but jeez there is just nothing left for jesse...

cant wait for the insider podcast wether they had an arguement about it or what the reasoning behind it was..

Who do you want us to root for right now? The Nazis?

Why do you have to root for anybody? Who do you root for at the end of Scarface? The Colombians? Who do you root for at the end of Godfather II? Who do you root for at the end of Macbeth?

Walter is a despicable human being that thought he could escape the consequences of his actions by dying before he had to pay the dealer. The great tragedy for him is that he lived.

This story is the inverse of Its A Wonderful Life. If Walter never lived, everyone's life would have been so much better. Walter is a cancer to everyone he ever came in contact with.

Bingo.

This.

Nailed it.

I love that. We don't need to root for anyone, that's good.
I actually feel like this is a case of who I want to see die. It's horrible to feel like that but I want to see the Nazis and Walt get their comeuppance so bad.

Am I imagining things or did Vince Gilligan actually come out and say that the ricin isn't for Walt?

And didn't the Lost writers come out and say the alternate timeline was not them dead.... and then it turned out it was? Because if you have enough people on the Internet of course some will stumble on the truth. But if you're the showrunner you can't just say "yeah you got it. You're right."

I think I'm still in the camp that the Ricin will never actually be used. It's been this mythical fix-all death poison since season 2.

If you were going to spend several months in a snowed in cabin hiding from the police and you were only allowed 2 copies of the same movie for entertainment, what movie would you bring?

I'm going to go with the extended edition of Fellowship of the Ring, a lot to dig into on that DVD set.

It'd probably have to be season 5 of the Simpsons for me. :hehe:

i'dd go with the extended edition of Return of the King, i think that version brings a lot more to the movie than the extended version of Fellowship does to it's film.

And didn't the Lost writers come out and say the alternate timeline was not them dead
They never said that. They always referred to that timeline as the Flash Sideways and that it was equally important as the main timeline.

Wow, no one wants to bring porn with them if they're going to be in a cabin all alone. I mean, why do you think Walter offered Robert Forrester 10 G's to stay for 2 hours??

Walt has gotten his comeuppance. Walt's kids, Jesse, Marie and everyone else except Skylar have turned there back on him. He lost Hank who he did genuinely care about. His Heisenberg identity has been exposed. His 'trademark blue meth' has been sold without his involvement. His home is gone. The money he made has been stolen and what he has left he can't even give to his family. Hank has been forced into exile.

Nothing has gone the way Hank planned it.

All Hank has left is a few more months to live. Even if the police caught him he still would of died of cancer before going to prison.

Short of killing his wife and kids I'm not sure what more could be done to Walt that would count as some sort of comeuppance.

Way to spoil the last episode, Hank rising from the dead. :o :oldrazz:

You can take Walt's money but you'll never take his pride.
