I think Saul was outed as Heisenberg's lawyer. I see no reason for the nazis to wanna go after him or for him to be scared of them. Hmmmm I dunno though, how exactly could Saul have been outed as an accomplice? Hmmmm

Authorities in Texas have launched an investigation into the origin of a brand new super-potent form of meth found in the hands of local middle schoolers.

The Galveston County Sheriff Department became aware of the new drug after six girls from the Blocker Middle School in Texas City reportedly started "freaking out" after ingesting a stamp containing an unknown amount of liquid meth.

According to Galveston County Sheriff Henry Trochesset, this drug's potency is unlike anything seen before.

He told KHOU it was "so potent that the meth can be absorbed through the skin if the stamp is touched."

It remain unclear where the meth came from, but Trochesset believes it was manufactured "outside the county."

Meanwhile, the eighth graders who consumed the drug were taken to the hospital for treatment and then released to their parents.

They were later suspended from school and may be sent to an alternative school for juvenile delinquents.

"They’re not all bad girls," said parent Danielle Allgood. "I mean one of them I’ve known for quite some time. I mean I would have never expected it."

I'm not 100% positive but I don't remember many kids on meth when I was in middle school

Oh it was around here most definitely. That was the late 90s early 00s though. I'd say it is MUCH worst now than back then. This sounds more like some kind of concentrated form. For it to be potent enough to be absorbed through the skin this stuff would have to be extremely potent. Has to be some kind of concentrated form or as they said its a totally new form of meth.

Gus killing Victor was so unexpectedly brutal. Giancarlo Esposito is unreal.

Go ahead and add "Breaking Bad superfan" to the list of things you and Sir Anthony Hopkins have in common.

In a rather incredible fan letter that was shared over the weekend by Breaking Bad actor Steven Michael Quezada (DEA agent Steven Gomez), a person claiming to be Hopkins could barely contained his gushing as he confessed to having just finished a two-week "marathon" of every Breaking Bad episode in existence (he downloaded the last season on "AMAZON").

A source close to Hopkins confirmed that the letter was indeed written by the legendary thespian in the flesh.

"Dear Mister Cranston.

I wanted to write you this email – so I am contacting you through Jeremy Barber – I take it we are both represented by UTA . Great agency.

I’ve just finished a marathon of watching “BREAKING BAD” – from episode one of the First Season – to the last eight episodes of the Sixth Season. (I downloaded the last season on AMAZON) A total of two weeks (addictive) viewing.

I have never watched anything like it. Brilliant!

Your performance as Walter White was the best acting I have seen – ever.

I know there is so much smoke blowing and sickening bull**** in this business, and I’ve sort of lost belief in anything really.

But this work of yours is spectacular – absolutely stunning. What is extraordinary, is the sheer power of everyone in the entire production. What was it? Five or six years in the making? How the producers (yourself being one of them), the writers, directors, cinematographers…. every department – casting etc. managed to keep the discipline and control from beginning to the end is (that over used word) awesome.

From what started as a black comedy, descended into a labyrinth of blood, destruction and hell. It was like a great Jacobean, Shakespearian or Greek Tragedy.

If you ever get a chance to – would you pass on my admiration to everyone – Anna Gunn, Dean Norris, Aaron Paul, Betsy Brandt, R.J. Mitte, Bob Odenkirk, Jonathan Banks, Steven Michael Quezada – everyone – everyone gave master classes of performance … The list is endless.

Thank you. That kind of work/artistry is rare, and when, once in a while, it occurs, as in this epic work, it restores confidence.

You and all the cast are the best actors I’ve ever seen.

That may sound like a good lung full of smoke blowing. But it is not. It’s almost midnight out here in Malibu, and I felt compelled to write this email.

Congratulations and my deepest respect. You are truly a great, great actor.

Best regards

Tony Hopkins."

Not many TV shows that I can think of that make other A list actors gush like that. BrBa truly will go down in the history books and if they don't sweep the Emmy's next year it will be a crime against humanity.

From one legend to another in the making

I'm sure it wasn't deliberate but surprising he left out Giancarlo in the name mentions? I'd say Gus was vaguely Lecterian in some manner?

For sure...He probably doesnt even know the name of most of those cast members. he probably copies names from IMDB and wrote them down.

Wow, Hopkins went total fanboy mode there lol.

Seriously though, I can't imagine how humbling that must feel for Cranston to get such incredible praise from a living legend of the craft.

Yeah, I'm sure it was unintentional. As was omitting Vince Gilligan's name too I'm sure.

Well when it was first posted on Gomez' Facebook it was later deleted but the article said the reached out to his people and they confirmed that he wrote the letter himself. Seems like something he would say but I don't know that many 75 year olds myself

This seems like a private fan-letter and not an open letter. Gomey probably deleted it because it wasn't meant to be shared with the public.

Gomey had to be insanely amped up to be amongst the names he mentioned, haha.

Bryan Cranston in an old Atari commercial that REALLY oversells what the game is capable of :woot:

Anthony Hopkins calls Bryan Cranston's 'Breaking Bad' role 'the best acting I have seen -- ever'
By Samantha Highfill on Oct 14, 2013 at 6:03PM

An innocent bystander might look at actors and think that the greatest moment of any one actor’s career would be winning something like an Emmy or an Oscar. But we might have found something that tops any sort of award: Anthony-freakin’-Hopkins telling you that you’re the best actor — possibly ever.

As far as we know, not many people can say they know what it feels like to have the man behind Hannibal Lecter tell them that they are great, but Bryan Cranston — and the entire cast of Breaking Bad, for that matter — now can. EW has confirmed that Anthony Hopkins himself wrote Bryan Cranston an email, in which he explains that he just recently finished a marathon of Breaking Bad, watching the entire series from beginning to end.

“I have never watched anything like it. Brilliant!” Hopkins wrote. “Your performance as Walter White was the best acting I have seen — ever.”

If Cranston hadn’t passed out yet from being praised by one of the greatest actors of all time, he would go on to read, “If you ever get a chance to — would you pass on my admiration to everyone — Anna Gunn, Dean Norris, Aaron Paul, Betsy Brandt, R.J. Mitte, Bob Odenkirk, Jonathan Banks, Steven Michael Quezada — everyone — everyone gave master classes of performance … The list is endless.”

And just when you thought the praise couldn’t get any better, Sir Anthony Hopkins brought things home with sheer elegance: “Thank you. That kind of work/artistry is rare, and when, once in a while, it occurs, as in this epic work, it restores confidence,” he wrote. “You and all the cast are the best actors I’ve ever seen.”

He then signed the email: “Congratulations and my deepest respect. You are truly a great, great actor.”

And just in case this wasn’t cool enough, he ended with “Tony Hopkins.” So basically, Bryan Cranston is allowed to call him Tony. Sorry, Oscars, but you just got showed up. Big time.

Read the whole letter at Vulture.

I'm assuming that's a manip? I don't get the military/new york city background though? not very breaking bad-ish.

I'm pretty sure the background is from Battlefield the videogame.

Ya it's a Battlefield/Breaking Bad mash up. this kid bought a bootleg of season 5b in Indonesia and that was the dvd menu screen. Gotta love those crazy foreign bootlegs. He posted it on Reddit

That letter from Sir Anthony is the bees knees. That could very well lead to Hopkins and Cranston working on a project together someday. How cool would that be? :wow:
