Watched Short Term 12. Damn... I absolutely love the intensity she brings in her acting.

Nothing to argue about. They're doing it right. Also, I heard a number of characters will leave MCU after Infinite War 1 or 2 (RDJ? Evans? Ruffalo? ScarJo?). So they have bring new blood into the franchise.
I know very little about Captain Marvel, but I'm excited for a female-led super-hero movie. And with an actress like this? The only downside - it's 2,5 years away.

Glad you enjoyed it! And a great thing about her intensity, imo, is how effortlessly she can turn it on and off. Like I don't even know how she can go from doing movies like that to Trainwreck, where her role is basically to laugh off Amy Schumer the majority of the time - until dealing with her issues with their Dad, then bam - back comes the intensity. It was the same way on United States of Tara (amazing show all-around, btw, and available on NetflixWatched Short Term 12. Damn... I absolutely love the intensity she brings in her acting.
). Most of the time her character on that was the happy-go-lucky, carefree party girl, but then when the drama hit, she always brought it. Glad you enjoyed it! It's also fun watching Scott Pilgrim now after having seen Room and Short Term 12 because you really see her range. It's like watching a completely different person.
Actually, didn't one of the writers confirm the helmet? It's not the same without the cloth belt. I also want brighter colors.
Also... What about her helmet? Does she need one?
I didn't know that. Cool stuff.Actually, didn't one of the writers confirm the helmet?
Hoping she gets to share scenes with Boseman and RDJ. She's a wonderful actress.
Oh gawd... that's because they're eventually planning to adapt Civil War II, aren't they.I remember someone (Feige??) talking about selecting the actor to play CM. He said that they kept in mind that she would have to share screen time with RDJ.

I'm sorry, the art sure is nice but everytime I see one of these I can't help but wonder why would anyone want to mess with perfection. It's called perfection for a reason.

Dammit Tony, you just got the crap beaten out of you by Steve, do you really want to pick a fight with the Earth's mightiest hero?

Time... that will be used to set up their eventual conflict in Civil War II in Phase 4.They'll be sharing time in IW.

I don't think the helmet has been confirmed, and if it has then I completely missed the news. The movie is still three years away from now, at this point I feel not even Feige himself has a clear idea of what her costume will look like.

It certainly helps to know going in that it's a show about a wife/mother with multiple personalities, lol. I have to say the pilot remains my least-favorite episode of the show, though. It just doesn't match style/tone of the rest of it too well, imo.BTW just watched the pilot for United States of Tara and confess I was a little confused for the first 5 minutes or so. I thought the writers did a good job of making your standard, run-of-the-mill, white, suburban family interesting.

And I'll echo those saying the helmet hasn't been confirmed, as far as I know.
