The Dark Knight British release date brought forward!

I got my ticket and free poster for the 23rd at the Bournemouth Odeon, don't suppose anyone on here going to that showing?

I'm so glad that i had the day off last tuesday lol i saw the imax website selling tickets started selling them on monday night and not having a credit card my only option was to go on a mental mission up to london from my coast based hideout, got there just as they opened and nabbed me four tickets fairly central for the 5.15 showing on 24th it ended up costing me twenty quid more because of the train/tube fare but hell after seeing the prologue on that screen i know it was worth it. So looking forward to it now, only two weeks thursday, and it can't come sooner. I did do my bit and came on here the minute i left the box office to let everyone know that the tickets were on sale and that they were selling fast, but people rarely listen to random posts from us brits so i guess my posts got missed, but hope everyone's got some kind of ticket to see it.

I've booked for 5:15 on Friday 25th if anyone is going then?

I might be. Does it matter where you sit, like if you sit in the sides would it make any big difference because theres only side seats left.
I'd probably prefer to go to a showing that has centre seats in the middle left

I always try sit centrally, try not to sit too near the front in the IMAX, or your neck will get broke looking at the screen :p

Thats what I was thinking, it being like an 8 story screen and all. The first date I've seen where the middle centre seats are available is the 30th, which is kind of annoying but I'll probably of watched the film at least 4 times by then.

When I saw the prologue I sat in the middle section, about 3 rows from the back and that was grand, sitting same place this time :)

I'd imagine that would be the best place to sit, but obviously, they are all booked up!

Got my ticket (and free poster) for the 8pm showing on the 23rd at the IMAX National Media Museum in Bradford - anyone on here going?

Do you get the poster as soon as you buy the ticket?

I'm booked in for the Manchester showing on the 23rd, I'm able to pick the tickets up from the 16th onwards. From what I gathered, we get the posters on the night.

Someone needs to ring up the ticket lineat odeon and find out when we get the posters?

Anyone who's interested, and this is one random time to see it but the imax in london waterloo just added a 2am showing on thurs/friday and there's loads of seats left everywhere, so if you wanna see it and don't mind watching through the night then it's worth it, plus if you've gotta travel to london to see it then it'll finish around 5/5.30 just in time to catch the first trains home to places lol

That's fantastic, consider yourself envied. And there's an IMAX in Manchester then! Heres hoping I'll be able to see TDK in IMAX glory at some point.
Touchdown! I've tickets for the 24th at Manchester Printworks. It'll be my first experience of IMAX glory.

I guess this may be one of the better places to ask,
does anybody know where to park around the bfi imax in london?

Your best bet is to park at waterloo station, car parks are a nightmare in london, best to park out of the city near a tube station and tube in, trust me it's a lot easier.

Lots of people going to to the 8pm 23rd screening in Manchester, I see. Should be brilliant.

only problem with that is we are going to the 11.30 screening so the tube will be closed by the time we finish?

I know, i never knew so many people on the hype lived here (or near) Manchester. I'll be the guy in the **** Joker T-Shirt.

Great, there are previews everywhere in the UK on the 23rd, except Glasgow. :whatever:

I know how you feel. Eastbourne? Check. Crawley? Check. Brighton? NO!!! Day after I break up as well. Looks like its just you and me, Mr. Thing.

I think im also going to skip the 23rd preview dates which is unusual for me as I always like to see the film asap.

I just feel that imax a day later is the way to go
