Speaking of the Austrian Oak; Chuck Heston was basically Nick Fury in True Lies.

Charlton Heston played Spencer Trilby (I think), and ran "Omega Sector" and I remember they had a big SHIELD styled symbol and HQ too.
Oops, someone beat me to it.

Yeah; there's a great overhead shot of the Omega sector logo on the floor and it's just so much obviously a homage to S.H.I.E.L.D.
