Fantasy Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel the Vampire - Part 3

So I rewatched the two part opener for Buffy S6 yesterday. And while SMG has plenty of Emmy worthy performances in “Innocence”, “Becoming”, “Amends”, “The Body” and “The Gift”, her performance in “Bargaining: Part 2” is really underrated. That pivotal sequence recalling the ending of “The Gift” and Michelle Tractenberg’s performance is beautifully done too.

I always dream of winning an Emmy so I can shout her out and give her, her kudos

Watching more of S6 and surprised how much I remember it. I don’t know why people ragged on Dawn, Michelle gave a good performance in this season. “Once More With Feeling” still holds up remarkably well and technically impressive despite the broadcast TV budget.

Not a fan of the heavy handed “life is the Big Bad” theme here, especially the symbolic Buffy and Spike having a tryst in a condemned house in “Wrecked.” And let’s forget the cringe fest that is the Geek Trio and “Doublemeat Palace” and the infamous bathroom scene in “Seeing Red.”

Overall, this season is more solid than S7 but the show was getting long in the tooth after S5.

I don’t think the performance aspect was ever in question. I just think there’s a natural inclination to be annoyed when a relatively new character brings that much angst to an established show.

Michelle was able to balance the angst of the character without being insufferable. Other child actors can’t do that.

More rumors. If true-i dont want it.

BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER' sequel series rumors

1. Buffy Summers lives in New York

2. She's calling herself Anne again.

3. Buffy has a coworker named Janet.

4. Character named Pastor Stevie

5. Character named Greta (probably Nova's friend Gracie)

6. Greta was raised Catholic and experiences something that solidifies her faith.

7. Nova lives in Sunnydale, CA.

I would wait to see why. It could be as innocent at just having issues in an office setting with a name like Buffy.

Trixies questionable rankings

1. Season 3 - loves Faith. Hates Angel so him leaving was a highlight. Thinks Buffy herself was to safe in S1/2 and Faith loosened her up
2. Season 7 - controversial. She knows its controversial. She loves the potentials.
3. Season 5 - Here for Glory. The Dawn surprise was great.
4. Season 6 - here for the darkness
5. Season 4 - Was sad Oz left. Loves Riley, #1 Buffy boyfriend. Living Conditions is her fave episode of the season. Loves Vampire Harmony
6. Season 2 - could take or leave the season. Not an Angel fan so didnt care for the finale.
7. Season 1 - Recommends watching Ep.1/2/12.
