See, I don't go to the movie forums because they're poisonous.
lol NA I love to be spoiled ahead of time. I've even tried to find Scripts to my fave movies because like any Novel or comic made into a movie there's ALWAYS changes.

Edit: I'll tell you what if we get more info on the TOYS as we go on I'll pop in here since you don't hit the Movie threads. We DO have a whole section on the new stuff already.

The Thor posters and Avengers posters are for the most part okay. No worries in those threads. Kind of hard to say with the Agents of SHIELD posters yet, tho they aren't angry in anyway lol

I miss comics. I want back in but my budget is a HC/trade a month (I live in Europe and have to import at the mercy of unscrupulous niche stores) Dc is dead to me because of that (September is a budget killer).

But I can't quit dammit! :-(

I heard the new Thor book is amazing and self contained?

Yes, God of Thunder is pretty much Self contained so far.

Yeah, you really don't need to know anything to start reading Thor: God of Thunder. It's pretty serialized, though, so start at #1 if you can find it.

I have been a Thor fan since the late 70's and Thor: God of Thunder has to be one of my favorite incarnations of the title. I was losing interest during Fraction's run very quickly, buy the Marvel Now run has been phenomenal.

Fraction's run was terrible. Easily among the absolute worst Thor runs of all time.

JMS turned me into a Thor fan, and Gillen solidified it. I got about 2 issues into Fraction's run, and never read it again until that JIM crossover. Aaron's run has been spectacular so far. Can't wait to see that get one of those oversized HCs for the first 11 issues.

Wasn't he also terrible at handling criticism of his inept writing of Thor and co?

Well, handling criticism is a thing, so I imagine Matt Fraction would be terrible at it. :o

Also, just got all caught up on God of Thunder. So God damn good. Gorr is like an evil version of Saint Walker from Green Lantern. And I say that in the best way possible.

Pretty much everything about Matt Fraction is *****ey, I've come to realize, so that doesn't surprise me.

I'm currently re-reading the Enchanters arc from Thor vol. 2. I'd forgotten how great this was, probably because this is only the second time we see the Enchanters in Thor's entire history after their first appearance waaaay back in the '60s. Only thing that kind of sucks is that it's a little awkward because The Eighth Day runs right through the middle of it. It's split between the Thor by Dan Jurgens & John Romita, Jr. vol. 3 and Thor vs. Thanos trades, if anyone's interested (like I said, awkward).

I just picked up the entire Avengers Prime mini. The danged Diamond rep at that time was a moron, I missed out on the Coipel Tales of Asgard Banner because of him and we gave him the order number!
LOVED Fafnir in that! Still wonder if Heimdall knows where the Twilight sword is.

I agree. Prime was probably the best Avengers story Bendis ever did. It was pretty critical too since it was the first team up of the big 3 in almost forever and I thought he nailed it.

I just loved we had Thor based stories all over for awhile. There was a time we had next to NOTHING on anything Thor.
NOW I got to locate the Warriors Three Dog Days mini lol, yet ANOTHER run that Rep messed up

Well I'll be, The Korbinites are mentioned and SHOWN in the 2nd Prelude comic

Started this virtual model on my new laptop :D
