i just watched that brief mtv interview with caine. i mean, he seems sincere when he talks about ledger. anytime he's talked about this movie, he seems to want to talk about ledger's performance. he seems really impressed by it. that's so awesome.

The Seven Dwarfs comment is just saying he has help aka henchmen. Which is something everyone already knew.

If you remember the released photos of the altercation b/w bats and Joker in the penthouse, you'll notice that its just a normal thug with a clown mask on.

Some of you guys are reading way into the word "dwarf." I think Caine just used the word "dwarves" as a synonym for "goons."

I never claimed Caine was logical.

But using deductive reasoning (I realize its a foreign concept here) and looking at the pic versus what Caine stated, we can conclude that by dwarf he means goon.

I don't see how its "reading too much into it", to see Caine say, "The Joker enters with seven dwarves," and assume that they are actually dwarves. I have nothing against the presence of dwarves. No offense to the vertically challenged, but some of them are damn creepy. Remember "Don't Look Now"?
