The Dark Knight Caine: "Heath frightened the life out of me"

Wait for it...maybe Caine is talking about Heath Ledger because he LIKES his performance? :wow:

I mean is it THAT hard to accept?

Right. That's cool and all. You might have forgotten to read my comment "No one has spoken about Heath in-depth."

Try not to be so defensive man. I'm not trying to ride on you.

"in-depth" is a bullshyt excuse. They're not gonna say "Oh there's this one scene where he kills maggie and he told me that he channelled this moment from childhood where he killed his cat by accident and he blamed his sister and wanted to kill her. I saw it in his eyes that he wanted to kill maggie in that scene and although she dies in the movie, she was frightened in real life. And all this was after I saw that "i wanna kill" look in his eyes when we shot the scenes where he blew up the hospital and killed the mayor and the commish of police and the fake batmen...."

He can't go "in-depth" and no one will. Nolan's "****" policy on everyone.

So why don't you think ur responses through a bit more eh there n00bie?

Nobody outright denied that. There are many possibilities, one of which (and the strongest one IMO) is that he just likes Heath THIS much.

Right.

I'm saying thats DEFINATLY a possibility.

Just playing devil's advocate so that we're all not brainwashed into thinking something before we've even gotten an actual trailer.

All I know is that I'm f'n excited to see the Joker right now and just anticipating the trailer in December. *jumps up and down*

No you're not. You've been brainwashed into being excited by Nolan's subliminal Australia-based propaganda interview scheme. He's THAT subtle. Your mind never stood a chance.

I've been fighting not to say this, but when I first saw the title of this thread, I immediately thought: "Heath frightens me. It's time my enemies share my dread".
Sorry, back on topic...

Lol, that made me laugh. Would be hilarious if someone said that:oldrazz:

Help me! I'm too weak, the Jedi are takin ovah!

He is the traitor.......OoooooooAHHHH..........

This reminds me of how Michael Mann made Manhunter. He purposely kept William Peterson from Tom Noonan until they actually shot the scene. Fantastic way to shoot.

methinks that Sir Michael Caine doesn't know the greatness of Mark "The Joker" Hamill

lol that is a VERY VERY good point fcrowelle06.

- Jow

It's true, I mean seriously, he put Nicholson over Hamill and noone in their right mind would do that if they pit batman89 to over 15 years of Mark's Joker work, I'm sorry but I need a little more of Heath to say that he's the definitive Joker....sorry Mark Hamill still holds that crown...for now, maybe heath might do it, but hey, I kinda doubt it, I mean he'll be good, but i don't think he'll knock Mark Hamill from my brain, but I go to the movie with an open mind

I think Sir Michael Caine needs to check out some B:TAS Dvd's and mask of the phantasm, and return of the Joker, and some Justice League episodes with the Joker, then I'll gladly accept his opinion, but until that happens.....uh-uh

holy shyt.

Payaso is still alive?

Man all the old great posters are coming out of the woodworks. It's almost like the good ol days when all the hardxcore Bat fans were around and there was no news.

"Heath frightened the life out of me"
Man Heath shouldn't have done that to an old man. He could of gave Sir Caine a Heart Attack.

I'm excited to see the movie but I'm not going to get too excited. I remember when the teaser for Spider-Man 3 came out last year, everyone on the board went nuts declaring it the greatest comic book movie ever made. Well we see how that turned out. Not saying TDK will be like that, I'm sure it'll be better, but watch and see, come December when the trailer is released, about 200 more new members are going to join and post this is the greatest comic book movie of all time from only viewing the theatrical trailer. Everyone will call dibs for both Bale and Heath getting Oscars.

I was one of those people.

Yeah. I was REALLY wrong. It was one of those expectation things. Thus why I'm trying to downplay all this "positivity" from the TDK Camp.

I just want us all to keep an open mind.

I don't think it'll be anyone's fault (on the boards, that is) if TDK disappoints. I don't see what's wrong about getting excited. We're all eager to see Batman on the big screen again.

Theres a difference though between getting excited and being convinced it's the "best movie ever" like some people do. Like that guy who's name rhymes with "Vett".
