I spent months fretting about how they were gonna pull off the wings. Wasted energy. They nailed it.

Wait so after March 18th, I can talk about the film as much as I want?

Hey, just a little over a week to go :D These will be fabulous days in this thread *G*

pyrobisson, please say what you feel you can? Quality of the movie good? How does it rank with the other Marvel movies?

Also, acting, directing…

Not really even wanting specifics, but just general impressions ;)

That Disney video isn't looking to great for me, really choppy.

Marvel is good with casting.

Just saw the 4-minute footage/preview. If the rest of the movie are as good as these 4 minutes, it could be the best MCU movie next to Avengers and Iron Man, and maybe even better. I love the tone, the atmosphere, and the fact that they finally got Capt. America right. I love the Avengers movie, but I also felt that Whedon did not "get" Cap as well as the Russo bros. have in TWS. I hope Whedon will see TWS and take some inspiration from it as he is directing the sequel of Avengers.

Sorry guys can't say a thing until 18th... I don't think there will be any review before that.

You can't even say if you like it or not? Is it really against the NDA?

Just so you guys know, Marvel Studios: Assembling a Universe could be found on my DirecTV list. Got it set to record!

New featurette about BW and her character in TWS:

Just bought myself tickets for the 4/3 Double Feature and IMAX 3D tickets for Friday 4/4 at 1pm  :cap:

I'm very glad to see BW getting a sizable development in this movie. I know some people are against it but I do think a solo BW is very workable, as long they got the right people on the job.

Kind of disappointed that they're only doing a double feature and not a mini-marathon like Thor: TWD, and IM3 had.

Agreed and I don't get why it isn't cap 1, avengers, and then cap 2.

Is the mini marathon just Cap 1 and CA: TWS? Yeah, I wonder why they're not doing all three Cap movies.

Because I know a lot of people think it's too soon for the WS arc in the movies, but Cap's been unfrozen for two years as of TWS and, really, this is his third movie appearance, the second one to explore the Man Out of Time arc, as the Avengers did that, even peripherally. So if we're kind of looking at Cap's character in terms of trilogy development, TWS fits in nicely with the arc developed from TFA to The Avengers to this movie.

So yeah, it makes sense to include Avengers in a pre-TWS marathon. Strange they aren't doing it that way.

Screenwriters Stephen McFeely and Christopher Markus wanted to write a conspiracy thriller and avoided having Cap struggle to understand modern conveniences.

Aww, opportunity missed. A scene where he learns how to use toilet paper would have been gold.
