People on Twitter don't have the power to make their suggestions canon. Only the producers of the comics and films can do that. So nonsense like nazi/hydra Cap, twincest, cannibal Hulk and Brutasha are canon regardless of how stupid they are.

What a world we live in right now that every relation must be either romantic or sexual...

Cap's sexuality/dating issue in movies is relatively simple - he is to certain extent the "counterpart" of IM. While Stark is "over the top" ladies man - getting them and throwing out of the bed after one night stand (similar to his father as one may recall), Cap is meant to be "old fashioned guy from old movies" - of course it is a running joke since the "Cap times" (all his upringing including) are incredibly "outdated" in times of Tinder.

That's the part of his charm - sth around the lines of Jane Austen .

And about the Bucky - it is a shame that old fashioned "brothers in arms" story is no longer understood. Some people also forget that Bucky is the only link Cap has to its own time...

As side comments - I agree that Sharon plot could be played better but I can imagine that some scenes get lost in final version...

Just out of curiosity, since my knowledge about Cap's history isn't as well versed as some here, but does Steve Rogers have any other characters in the comics that he's been romantically associated with other than Peggy, Sharon, and BW?

I know Scarlet Witch is somewhat off the table given her thing with Vision and seeing as how they're persistent in keeping BW on Banner for the time being, does Cap have any other canon choices to be paired up with?

Agreed, seems Marvel hasn't learned a damn thing from the massive backlash they got when One More Day with Spider-Man occurred .

The single dumbest cash grab plot ever constructed, who in their right minds approved this garbage. Steven Grant Rogers isn't nor has he ever been a Nazi, He's an Americain patriot and war hero. I don't approve of this bullcrap at all. I find it offensive to the creator of Captain America and all the character has stood for the last 75 years plus.

It's what we call "The ending of the story".

Kobik will be involved, used by Zemo to rewrite Steve's history, the heroes will correct it somehow, everything will go back to normal, and we'll all feel like a bunch of a**holes.

I know this is just using the "baiting the angry comic fans" method that's overused today....I know it will be retconned eventually, but I still find this HydraCap thing terrible.

I'm all for taking characters in new and challenging directions, but this is just not working for me and it makes no sense that taking Cap, at the height of his popularity and making him an unabashed villain (and connected to a Nazi-like organization when made by two Jewish creators) just leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

You can make for new and interesting developments without controversy baiting or the thing I really really hate, going back to the beginning and giving us the "NEW UNTOLD STORY" I don't like lazily inserting things into the past or right before the past.

Eh, I don't care if it looks like I'm overreacting, I'm just not gonna pick this one up. Yes, I was surprised and weary of Bucky's resurrection, but reading the issues, it worked rather well and didn't come off as a cheap way to bait readers into Hate-reading.

Seriously. It's clear Marvel doesn't give a crap about pandering for sales (which was the biggest reason I was against the #GiveCaptainAmericaABoyfriend movement), so now they might as well have Steve and Bucky/Sam/Tony gay it up all over the place, then retcon it later.

It would STILL be 19283792375x better than making Steve Hydra. They've already jumped the shark, so why the hell not.
