I could dig the mask if done right
But I agree on the whole "no mohawk" thing
looks strange with the outfit, not to mention it is uncharacteristically fashion minded of a badass military woman

(and ps I still don't understand why comic book artists have such difficulty drawing actual mohawks instead of those fluffy floppy 'hawks like Daken and Storm)

The Captain Marvel costume with the Ms. Marvel head (long hair/domino mask) would look the best IMO.

I prefer the long hair, just because that's the look I always associate with Carol (and plenty of female members of the military have long hair, they just wear it up when in uniform), but the domino mask is totally superfluous to me.

I would probably re-imagine the domino mask as some sort of sleek high tech visor/goggles that she wears while flying. It could even be modified Kree tech, and be a sleeker version of Mar-Vell's mask which could have the same purpose. It could even have lenses that glow white when she wears it (as opposed to just being black tented like sunglasses, it would be similar to how the films treat the lenses on Iron Man's helmet), and can retract, so you can have an effect similar to how they've treated her mask in the comics (where some artists white out her eyes on the mask and some don't).

G'day,

Have a look at Starlord in GOTG. His "mask" , really a helmet, popped up when required. Expect something similar with Carol. I just hope it doesn't make her look like a chicken.

^ Probably a mask that doesn't cover the entire head, like the Star-Lord helmet, allowing for Carol's hair to stick out of it without "looking like a chicken".

That would be incorrect. S.W.O.R.D being with Marvel was confirmed as far back as the first Thor. S.W.O.R.D was mentioned by name in a deleted scene from that film.

I'm fine with female superheroes in general, but I take a degree of issue with this choice. A Mar-vell movie should feature the white or blonde-haired Kree Warrior/Rick Jones symbiosis. I could also go along with Genis-Vell... but the Carol Danvers manifestation? Let's at least go with her original look to pay some kind of homage to her namesake. Her current look is really generic
Here's also the opportunity to tie in Adam Warlock, Moon Dragon, The Surfer and perhaps the High Evolutionary
